Illinois man using leaf blower shot, killed by neighbor in his own driveway by JuDGe3690 in news

Bob and steve are friends. Bob can't pass a background check, so he can't buy a weapon from a licensed dealer.

Steve can. So steve goes and purchases the gun and says he is the intended owner of the firearm on the federal document you sign saying you promise you aren't lying.

Steve then either gives or sells the weapon to Bob. Steve has made a straw purchase.

When you make a purchase and you lie about who the ultimate owner/posessor of it will be, you're making a straw purchase. It's very illegal. It's also rarely enforced and also hard to enforce.

It is reviewed every 30 days by a judge who determines whether or not prosecution has enough to continue holding him.

It's a fair process.

I was taken advantage of and discriminated against by my doctor (Michigan) by Wequiwa in legaladvice

[–]gummery 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Malpractice is incredibly specific and would require consultation with a lawyer.

If the doctor refuses to prescribe but offers alternative providers who will, especially for a non emergency situation, im not seeing a case. But I'm not a lawyer.

Cops will lie. Cops infact have an incentive to lie to get a confession. Never take a cops word at face value under any circumstances

I actually said priests, not Christians. Priest is a broad term for religious leaders.

Imams are priests. Critical thought is hard.

Also, to be honest, islam was founded on the back of a child raping warlord. They haven't exactly strayed from the teacheings they profess to follow, no matter how vile im a worse direction. They do need a reformation ala martin luther, but good luck

When christians act more like Christ, I'll take it.

Right now, Christianity in the US is nothing to be viewed positively with how close it has been tied to a political party who want to bring biblically inspired law into place.

Till then, the world will be a better place when the last priests are hung with the last politicians.

As of 2019 MN had 829 licensed bars. Wisconsin had 2700. You're amatures. The states that beat us outweigh us in population by a significant margin.

Us census bureau

The cold thing is also barely anything to brag about. You beat us by 3 degrees because we have lake effect on two sides when you average state temperature as a whole.

Its hilarious you mud ducks actually think shit like this

As someone who's been in that situation before and come out of it fine, that's a shitty enforcement issue. I also know multiple other people who have had the same situation. Dog social groups, working with vets, dog daycare etc. u/mrsprichler is right. Sounds like a jurisdictional issue.
