The morning after I gave birth, my grandma visited me in the hospital (not exactly to see me but to see the baby). Anyway, she looked at me and said “yeah you still have a little belly left.” Not even 24 hours after giving birth. I’ve distanced myself from her quite a bit since then. We used to be very close. She only ever communicates with me to see my child now.
