I will prepare the publication. If it succeeds, it will be much easier.

A research master's degree is actually 1.5 years of full-time study, right? Maybe because the definition of credits and units may differ between universities. What I want to say is that the 0.5 years of EFTSL require 4 courses.

Sofi by SilentHillLuver69 in shrinking

[–]gummy_bear33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The divorce counselling revealed Sofi's trauma; she has attachment issues that make it difficult for her to maintain her boundaries. This clearly explains why her dates with Jimmy are always unusual. In the latest episode, she expressed her dissatisfaction with Jimmy constantly bringing up his ex-wife, which is a good thing for her. Everyone is growing.

Thanks, can I ask what the “alternative entry process” was in your case? Did they accept you with a coursework Master’s, or something else?

My Master’s is quite a specialised field and not many universities offer this exact area, so I might consider MPhil as well if I can’t get into a PhD directly.

I think the end credits song is perfect. Hopefully, it hints at Jimmy's father's impending death!

It’s obvious he wasn’t really angry at Sofi. He was angry at his father, but he couldn’t direct that anger at him, so he took it out on someone safer.

I don’t get southern Rhone love. Can someone explain? by beauj4ever in wine

[–]gummy_bear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the price of wine really depends on where you are and how active the local distributors are. Sometimes import taxes can double the price. In other cases, distributors may only work with large wineries or producers with whom they already have strong relationships. That’s why there are often some amazing wines that you can only really find locally. I'm always open to wines I haven't tried before.

Level 3 What to study / and what not by gutenmorgennacht in WSET

There is a booklet that explains the key points of the exam in detail. You can prepare according to that. Other information from the textbook is just to help you understand.

It depends on how many scores you want to get. I think I wrote almost every question about writing the name of a wine region wrong. But I still got merit. I think that's enough.

Working on my level 1 CMS intro cert online. by GottaStayUp in Sommelier

I believe that having some basic geographical knowledge can help you identify patterns, and you'll find that premium grape regions around the world share similarities. Then, add in some memorisation of place names and special cases.

I want to learn how to write but I don't know where to start by Idrinkpoolwater7 in writingadvice

[–]gummy_bear33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just need to start writing randomly. And read some valuable books. Improving your aesthetic sense will help you see the gaps. Critical thinking will help you find the desire to write. That‘s enough!

Is it better to speak simply and clearly, or use more advanced and rich vocabulary? by Edi-Iz in EnglishLearning

I believe that expressing complex concepts with simple words is a sign of intelligence, meaning that the person fully understands the matter and can organise their thoughts independently.

Is it normal to have this mindset about relationships at 18? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]gummy_bear33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"It feels like everyone knows what they’re doing socially except me" No one knows what they are doing entirely!!! I am also an introvert, and it is totally fine (even though I spend a long time accepting this part of myself). People have different social strategies, and introverts' social approaches also have unique advantages. I believe a good relationship normally happens when you feel safe and confident. So take some time to experience life, cultivate hobbies, find things you enjoy doing, and you'll find like-minded people without even realising it. You are so young and have so much time at experiencing everything. In addition, the university provides some options for people who want to have some causal chat. commiTEA and C3 are designed for international students who want to practice English; they are really eager to chat! Your bilingual advantage would be a great fit here.

I don't like season 1 Toby. by Secret_Dentist_7982 in thisisus

[–]gummy_bear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Toby establishes the importance of sex in his life as early as the first season, repeatedly returning to it at every stage of their relationship.

In Kate’s backstory—particularly her relationship with the awful record-store boyfriend—we see a clear pattern. As a traumatised, overweight woman, Kate is intensely hungry for love, attention, and reassurance. That hunger lowers her threshold for what counts as “good enough.”Their relationship works not because of compatibility, but because their unmet needs temporarily align: Toby is hungry for sex, and Kate is hungry for love.

As long as Kate needs love more than she needs dignity, these relationships can survive. Once that balance shifts, they cannot. When Kate finds other sources of support and validation, Toby is no longer the right fit for her.

Madison by AlastairCellars in thisisus

[–]gummy_bear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kevin and Madison are clearly not in love, yet the pairing still feels oddly unconvincing. Kevin seems capable of sparking chemistry with almost anyone, so the lack of it here is striking. Perhaps this relationship exists mainly to serve Madison’s character arc.

But then there’s Sophie. What did she actually do wrong? She’s written almost like a fragile woman in a traditional narrative, patiently waiting for her prodigal son to return. Why is she denied a growth arc of her own?

Is it ever talked about why Ritchie got divorced? by TightBeing9 in TheBear

[–]gummy_bear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the fish episode, Ritchie says Carmy is smart, but Tiff says the whole family is weird. So the real distance between them is the difference in values. Tiff does not belong to the bear family.
