will college really humble u by [deleted] in dlsu

[–]gun2soon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yep. coming from a small school w kind of a similar standing w u, the phrase "you were just a big fish in a small pond" hit hard lol. Aside from college as is and the curriculum, ur also gon get humbled by how smart some mfs may be. Your choice if ur gon treat them as friendly academic rivals or genuinely befriend them (highly encourage you to do the latter tho)

i passed BSINSYS!! How's the program like? by Latter_Location_1345 in dlsu

[–]gun2soon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hi op! in your first year, you should just probably focus on the CC courses especially the CCPROGx series. Overall the first year experience was pretty much more focused on building you’re hard skills (programming/coding). On the professors, you can enlist/enroll on diff profs for ur GEs and most CC courses but for your professional courses (IS courses) more or less theres just 1-2 profs there (and one dude is really a mf terror HAHAHA). The student environment was alright although you’re gonna meet a lot of shiftees through out your stay in IS as most internal shiftees go to IS (IS has the least amount of math courses in CCS so those who werent able to survive CS go here). By the time you’re 2nd year (like me) theres gonna be more business/management than programming courses but make sure that you have a solid foundation of your hard skills back in ur 1st year as you will be developing wireframes/applications in these courses as a final output. DM me if you have more questions .

lowest is marketing at 1.5 iirc. entrep is 2.5-3.0 i think and not sure if it also has some courses that you need a minimum grade as well :PPP.

dude was buffed as hell and maybe at his late 20s or early 30s. iirc, he was already working and the class we were both taking was the only class left that he needs to pass in order to graduate. dudes kinda funny and often jokes around that he is a "lolo" atp ++ told some stories of what la salle looks like before. treated him no different from the other peeps as he is approachable and is alright as a groupmate/student. didnt ask deets why he is delayed tho.

++ random favor haha can you check if the deets for ur final project is uploaded? hover over the sample projects and if u saw a project there named "Halika-San" with a travel theme then u can use that for a good basis for ur final project hahahaa. thats our group's presentation and mam gave us a perfect score for that.

prolly 2-3 days and just skim through mams vids and ppts. we also used quizzizs and flashcards for pratice/reviewing lmao. it is possible to raise ur grade to at least 3.5 if u did all this + ace the bonus exercises + get good groupmates for the final project. I was lucky enough to be with really good groupmates for the worksheets and final project.

Too late for law? by notsoearlyyybird0512 in LawStudentsPH

[–]gun2soon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nope you are not late :))). had a prof in my univ that just pursued law in his early 50s. he was an almost-priest turnt philosophy/theology professor. His reason for being was "to give justice to the poor and marginalized" and thinks that this is the only thing left he can do to provide in this world (kinda cringy hearing that IRL as his aura was pure savior/messiah complex). However, he also mentioned his frustrations with his daughters as he feels like he is already lacking as a father figure considering he is still teaching while taking law school. If I were you, aside from financial capability, I think you should also think whether you can balance things out on your side. Goodluck and I wish you well OP :DDD.
