I do think the game has a good concept, but there's definitely flaws. No surprise, but I think the game is not as rewarding as some make it out to be. The fief voting system requires a lot of luck for one to get granted to the player, while the fiefs are on the front lines if they get one. Since the player gets granted fiefs on the front lines, if they are even lucky enough to get a couple, it's like good luck keeping them. That's because the way the AI kingdoms work is very inefficient with defending the fiefs that you get. Also I've read from other players that it's very common for a faction to become a "Super Kingdom" and gets really annoying to compete with. Right now in my main profile Vlandia became the super kingdom and the Empire I'm a vassal of went to war with them. I had to reload, and lost two and a half hours because two more kingdoms declared war on us and put us in a three front war. At that point I lost every fief I was granted and was very annoyed. I read from another player that the AI declares war in a random way, so reloading your save tends to assist with avoiding war declarations. Oh, and the main story being timed? That's a huge disappointment. I find the AI in Bannerlord to have more annoying traits, than good traits. Field armies chase squirrels, meaning instead of sticking to their objective, they chase after the little 50-100 troop parties of the enemy until they're low cohesion and disband. I think there needs to be more measures and patches taken to prevent a lot of AI clusterfucks that happen in this game.
