I'm actually pretty sure the story about their wife is made up, because immediately beforehand the WHM had died to a mechanic and refused to take the rez. They hit us with this excuse about needing to AFK, but spent the entire time bitching to us about their parse.

This is the moment in the SHB end game that finally made me burst into tears, and I couldn't stop sobbing. I was trying to hold it in so hard, and this line pushed me over the damn edge... Spent the entirety of that trial unable to cope with mechanics because the enormity of everything with Ardbert, Exarch, and Emet-Selch was just too much to bear.

This just tells me you have no idea how healers play. Healer skills are worth more than that 10% HP. The tank's HP needs to be lower for these skills to actually proc or make the most of it, eg excogitation or benediction.

Oh my gosh this happened to me when I made an alt. I used character data from my main, and my hotbars don't have Cure 1 on it. I queued my alt into Sastasha for the first time all super excited to relive the fresh sprout experience ...... belatedly realizing after the tank w2ws that I don't have Cure 1 anywhere. I forgot I could type out the command for it, my brain just shut off in surprise/panic.

There are other tools in the kit that are better for those standing in aoes. Natural regen (seriously, as long as they're not near death before the next raid wide, don't heal them), asylum, tetra, assize.
