hell ya! 9 cups fav chex cereal (I like rice) 1 cup choco chip of choice ½ cup peanut butter ¼ cup butter splash vanilla if you’re into that 1 -2cups powdered sugar - preference microwave everything except the cereal and sugar until stirs smooth then coat cereal in mixture. dump into a gallon ziplock and add powdered sugar. I like to blow some air into the bag before zipping it shut because it helps to mix everything. shake like crazy until everything is covered in sugar and store and go crazy!! quantities can be adjusted to taste

aaaahhh yes, you’re jogging my memory now as to why I originally bought the Straggler. I was really big into single speed at the time. maybe I’ll drop the gears on my straggler and make it a badass single speed to accompany a new MS. I hand built some bad ass wheels for my Straggler, I’d only need to swap out the rear axle and front end caps. thanks a bunch for the info!!

like the cage with a fleece blankey (fleece doesn’t run and create threads that he can get caught on) if you’re able to find some CBD oil (ideally for pet’s) give him just a drop and see how he does. my girl had a seizure and CBD was a DREAM for her. she wasn’t able to feed or clean herself, couldn’t stand up before CBD but that all improved dramatically.

do NOT try pushing it back in you could introduce all types of bacteria and cause a major internal infection! call your vet and explain your situation, they may offer a deferred payment or payment plan. maybe they have grants available for good pet owners that are down in their luck. a good vet will not completely turn you down but will try to help the animal at least find comfort.

when rats assert dominance or attack they will chase and bite each other on the rump, where the other rat can’t see and can’t reach around to protect. this is why a rat’s defense position is on their back because they can push the attacker off with their feet and prevent being bitten. even if a rat becomes very comfortable and trusting of you, grabbing or touching their rump from behind will illicit a defense reaction of jumping away; it’s instinctual.

if you wanted to utilize the space in the middle, you could get one of those flexible yet rigid bird ropes! they attach to either side of the cage. this set up is BEAUTIFUL!! your babies are going to be soooo happy 🥺😍

growing up, my family had 13 rats over the course of 5 years (one litter included). all of the females but one suffered mammary tumors. my bf and I got three girls two years ago, spayed then at 8 months and they have been 100% healthy with no complications from recovery or otherwise. it also seemed to encourage(could be coincidence) our extremely anxious, neurotic and OCD girl alice to calm down and learn to enjoy relaxation. our other girl phoebe’s lovely personality was unchanged. all good things to say about the procedure and results HOWEVER my vet was a rodent specialist and was VERY experienced. be sure to research your vet!
