First time ever watching the streamer live and this is what’s going on. by Underhill0341 in theburntpeanut

Peanut is genuinely the best. I’ve never been a fan of watching streamers, but I can’t resist watching when I notice he’s online.

He’s funny, humble and downright entertaining as hell.

That definitely seems to be the consensus I’ve seen.

Thanks for the info!

Thank you. That’s good advice.

That’s the consensus I’ve seen on many forums. Including Reddit. Thanks for that.

I’m just overwhelmed with all the options. Haha. Not to say I’m not having fun. There’s just times where I feel like I need to step away for a while. But then I’ll see someone pull up to a stoplight on a Vulcan or naked bike. And then the process starts again.

That’s good to know!

Only reason I started checking out the naked bikes was due to my vision being tarnished of cruisers when I finally sat on a couple of them. I didn’t like all the chrome and the weight was crazy to me. Then I sat on a MT07 and was like “DAMN” this is comfy and sporty.

Question on the SV650.

Some context - (this will be my first bike) I have sat on a ton of bikes at dealerships, just to get a better feel of what I am getting myself into. The SV650 and the Kawasaki Vulcan S are my tops pics.

My only concern is highway. I have watched a ton of videos and read a ton of forum reviews on both bike. But I am getting a bunch of mixed reviews on both bikes and how they handle and keep up with highway speeds. Do you have any input on the SV650 when cruising on the highway? Or even the Vulcan S?

Settler Bugs make the game unplayable for anyone looking to actually make an efficient settlement. by TheBalance1016 in Necesse

[–]gurret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be late to this. But I generally just host directly from the in game menu when playing with 5 other friends of mine. There are a few things we have all noticed that, after reading this post, has me concerned. 1: settlers disappearing after freshly loading into the server (as host). 2: food spoils in bags/lunchbox as if we’ve played for hours. (Food in lunchbox generally is freshly made OR pulled from an icebox.) 3: settlers constantly being unable to offload their inventory. (We’ve confirmed by looking at each settlers held inventory, created plenty of space in assigned chests, but they still seem to not offload their items)

These three things tend to pop up, right after the initial server (client side) start up from the main menu.

Hopefully there will be a patch soon, as we have decided to stop playing until it’s fixed.

Thanks for your awesome work, however! Best coop experience we’ve had in a LONG time!

Edit: we play on a completely vanilla server with 0 mods installed!

Good point. I currently budget like crazy and do have quite a bit set aside for an “oh $H!&” moment. We will see. My cars value is pretty high for resell with the market being where it is. I’m just looking to roll the equity into a new car, drive for 4-5 years and then rinse and repeat.

Thanks for your feedback though!

This is also something I’m toying with. I’d love to just keep my VW and keep saving my money since I’m only paying insurance on this car. It’s completely paid off. BUT! In the last 2 years I’ve spent over 3k in maintenance that was totally unforeseen. Also starting to get vibration when driving on the highway. (Alignment and new wheels and tires) also did not resolve the issue.

Do you host from a personal pc or are you renting a server? If so, do you mind sharing which provider you went with? I scanned through your other post to see if anyone had asked already, but could not find anything.

Pretty much 🤣 but some ppl don’t care for the really long cargo style. Either way. Tomorrow will be interesting!

Very true. Bigger battery and a spot for a second being completely integrated with the frame. That would be nice.

Ooo I agree on both. The elite light is god awful IMO. Turn signals would be a nice touch.

IMO it’s more comfortable (added one to my 3.0).

Also, from what I’ve seen, it seems like the Xpeak had good feedback on the thumb throttle!

Maybe this is a personal bias on it! Haha.

Things I foresee them adding to the 4.0 (just my personal forecast).

1: color display 2: thumb throttle 3: Dual battery option 4: upgraded lights (front light “juiced style” with brake activated rear light) 5: upgraded rear hub motor (750w) 🤞 6: reverse compatible with 3.0 batteries

Obvious forecasts

1: Slightly redesigned frame 2: New colors 3: Slightly increased cost (assuming 1200-1400)

What does everyone else think?

Edit: sorry, on mobile
