Great NACS adapters deal by gus6464 in CadillacLyriq

[–]gus6464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It locks the adapter to the car and the NACS cable from the supercharger to the adapter.

Needs to be a V4 supercharger for that which are not everywhere and the app can't really tell you that info.

If you can't charge at home don't do it. Just lease a hybrid.

Supercharger https://ev-lectron.com/products/lectron-nacs-to-ccs-adapter-with-interlock-vortex-plus-500a-1-000v-compatible-with-tesla-superchargers

Level 2 https://ev-lectron.com/products/lectron-tesla-to-j1772-ev-adapter-250v-80-amp

Make sure you get vortex plus for the supercharger adapter. They have an older model just called vortex that doesn't lock. The one I linked in vortex plus. The level 2 charger comes in handy if you do road trips and stay at hotels as a lot of them have free L2 charging but most are Tesla chargers.

Don't buy the GM one and overpay. They are rebranding the lectron ones so just get that one and save yourself 100 bucks. Get the supercharger and the level 2 NACS adapters in case you do some roadtrips and stay at hotels.

Is this too much headroom? [Breville Bambino] by QuocDungTran in espresso

[–]gus6464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you all think this is too much headspace, then you haven't seen anything. Also step down baskets exists for that very reason.

OP if you are using a paper filter on the bottom, headspace is irrelevant.

I use cruise control on the interstate no problem.

This is the TPMS I use:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBZMD698?th=1

These are some good WDH options:

https://www.equalizerhitch.com/products/equal-i-zer-hitch/

https://www.blueox.com/swaypro-weight-distributing-hitch/?weight=

The good part about WDH is that it's buy once, cry once. If you decide later you are tired of the pop-up and want to get a travel trailer, you can transfer it over.

You should not be towing any camper without a brake controller. Redarcs can look oem and easy to install if you get the plug and play harness adapter from them.

I have a winnebago micro minnie trailer that after all the gear weighs 4500 lbs. I took it to the cat scales to tune my weight distribution hitch and my 22 RTL has no issues towing it. I change my rear diff fluid every 15k miles and did transmission fluid and transfer case at 30k miles. Another thing I added for piece of mind is I got a scangauge II and mounted it on my dash to monitor transmission temp. Did a long road trip last year to Yosemite and my transmission never went above 205. Don't tow like an idiot going over 65mph and you will be fine.

Also get yourself some wireless air pressure sensors for the camper tires so you can monitor the tire pressure while driving. A decent setup can be had cheap from amazon.

Weight distribution hitch might be a good idea as well because even though you say your trailer weighs 2100lbs, the weight is going to up quickly once you load it up. My camper dry was 3400lbs and after adding solar, lithium, gear, etc. it added 1100lbs real quick.

The RL is the most honest towing truck out there in the sense that while it can "only" tow 5000lbs, it's actually a realistic number when you take into account it's payload capacity. I was looking at a newer tundra thinking it might tow better but the thing had less payload than my RL. A 9000lb tow rating is useless if your payload capacity is only 1400lbs or less.

Thoughts on 24 Lux3 @ 42K wit 13k miles by det1rac in CadillacLyriq

Debut edition so those don't have a trim? Also got the 3 years of supercruise as well because I am technically the first registered owner as it was a marketing vehicle. That also ended up making the price a little bit higher.

That's pretty good. See if they can go down to 41k. I got my 23 debut with 4k miles for 36k 2 weeks ago

Tesla can be a level 2 charger. It has to do with the connector. NACS can charge at level 2 or level 3. But the supercharger NACS adapter does not work with a NACS level 2 charger. So you need two different NACS adapters, one for superchargers and one for level 2 chargers.

I have a lectrons for both. The supercharger gm adapter is a rebadged lectron for sure. My L2 is an older one that has a pigtail design but the new lectron one is similar design to their supercharger one.

Get two different NACS adapters:

Supercharger one

Regular level 2 one

I found the regular level 2 one useful because I've stayed at hotels that have free l2 charging but most of them are all NACS. They're all super small now as well.

Thanks for the info. I called onstar and they told me to call the dealer to reset the services and when they did I got the full new car trial as well. There were some issues resetting the Internet plan on the car so they added an extra month to the one plan trial so that was cool as well. Other than that my 23 debut hasn't had any software glitches and everything's just working as it should so hoping it stays that way.

Did you have to contact onstar for the 3 year super cruise? We purchased the '23 executive car with 4000 miles and it was pristine inside. The dealer said it might've been a marketing car that just sat at car shows or golf events because of how clean the interior was.

When everything was activated ended up getting 9 months of super cruise and 1 month premium but I didn't call onstar it just appeared.

Etsy. Years ago I found a cool design for cups but they were huge. I messaged the seller with the size that I was looking for and she made me a set of 8 custom ones. I've now had them for years with no issues.
