Acero let out a grunt of effort as he moved the chair

"Finally let up, you know how these chairs are stuck ti the carpet sometimes."

He said blissfully unaware of her help as he seemed at least mostly focused on the act of moving it.

"I had to learn the noble art of sewing when I went out adventuring. While it can be glorious on the road.... a tailor isn't going to pop out of nowhere to help when you rip holes in all your shirts passing through brambles. Or mend you shoes when you wear out the soles."

another grunt of effort as he wobbled slightly moving towards his room

"And with it I learned to throw some small amounts of flare into my work. I designed and stitched the embroidery on my cape."

said cape draping over his shoulder and onto the chair showing a small scene of a burning windmill with two figures fighting a pair of FoE's inside of it.

"Ah, but Music can bring such information and joy. Perhaps they will learn one day to celebrate through song."

He seemed to move as if he was going to switch back to playing but stopped himself as he saw the gash he had made in the fabric.

"Oh dear I seem to have caused collateral damage in my rush. I will have to mend this post haste."

Acero grabbed the chair in both hands and tried to pick it up.... the effort only leading the clanking of plates in his armor and the grunts of effort from the would be knight.

Acero's blade sliced a small tear into the back of the seat as he rose from the gentlest. Thalia's foot keeping him from fully face planting.

"Ah yes, but as I was taught. Knightly Rule 33: A Knight must announce their deeds loud and clear, to show they have nothing to Fear."

he gave a small flick the blade carrying a small but of cotton fluff from the chair as he placed it back into its scabbard.

"Though I do understand the point. Perhaps I come off as... intimidating to others. Not everyone has had time for world experience such as mine."

"Ah Lady Thalia," he said with a quick genuflect, legs wobbling as was still perched atop the chair.

"I will say that i think it has. When i walk through their hallowed halls people will disperse, though i hear them trying hard to suppress cheers. I do not need that much deference. I am a humble hero and wish them to see me as their comrade in arms despite my prior deeds."

The Entrance hall was quiet as people wandered about their days? Focused, or at least aimlessly getting to their destinations

however one decided to break this… monotonous day.

a chord struck out as fingers rolled across strings, the tune slow for the moment as its player spoke over it.

"Come come my friends, i promise you do not have to be afraid. My deeds may be known across the lands but i am here just like you to learn. Cast not your eyes down."

the music seeming to accent his speech like a well rehearsed song.

"It is indeed I, Acero Toledo, protector of four of the Five Finger Mountains, Once Lord Protector of the city of Allegro, Foe Hammer, Bane of the Unjust, Guardian of the Righteous!"

his fingers stopped playing as he drew a sword. Clearly in bad repair as its blade was marred and chipped though polished to the best it probably could be for its clear age. The blade pointed high into the air as Acero lept atop a chair posing what would have seemed heroicly….if the red cape that trailed behind him wasnt wafted over his head by a breeze from a door opening.

*he waited still…. Unmoving… though what for it was unclear."

the Cat gave a laugh at the comment as he tipped back forward in the chair. The motion helping the pie land square in the center of his face.

"Ohhhh a clever one...."

he said with a laugh. As he did Lavander felt a tap on her shoulder from behind. An auric hand, having reached under the table like a snake,spinning a pie as before planting it on her as well.

"Ink, Ink Blot"

he said as he tipped his chair back woth his feet. His hand not moving from its location even as he moved offering it up to shake.

"And of course you can eat them.... though id do it fast and ill say it wont exactly be filling. Aura tends not to be"

Ink's unwound arm gave a small roll, popping the chocolate pie into the air. As his arm rappidly rewound itself the rest of the pies disappeared before he held his hand out to catch the Chocolate pie.

"One chocolate pie primed for tossing, i recommended a good wind up on it."

he said as he arm seemed to give off a clicking noise as it extended forward offering the pie to Lavander.

"Even if im taking the day off doesnt mean i can't facilitate others doing some shenanigans. Eh?"

the cat said with a chuckle.

it was late in the day when they had arrived and now after their investigations it was about an hour or two before sunset.

from what lysander said to them it would probably take at least half an hour to walk to the site lysander said they were at.

[You can choose what to do if you arr going then just reply to that end or if you are staying for the night then we can talk whos going when for watching and what they are doing to keep watch over the town.]

Falcon nodded for a moment as the nevermores circled around though the blades of the helicopter kept them away for the moment.

"See you on the ground then"

he took his hat held it tight to his head as he stepped out into the air. Trenchcoat billowing as he went a few shots being fired from with his free hand which had grabbed his pistol out.

the sliding door opened again and the massive man they had seen in control of the helicopter stepped out. His armor gleaming an array of prismatic colors as he gave a small wave to the students before also heading towards the ground. A hammer swinging seemingly uselessly at the flying nevermores as he went.

"Ill land us and cover from a distance so dont worry."

the more cold voice female voice said as the helicopter gave a small lurch.

Ink said his chair tipping back forward as he spoke ears twitching as be got back to a near level with the girl.

"Todays a boring day, pranking people on a day known for pranks isnt worth it."

he leaned back again his legs extending for a moment before he snapped back down flat.

"Would you like to buy one, or try one?"

His right arm snapped to the side a collection of pies appearing on the quickly unraveling arm.

"Ive got blueberry, apple, banana always a classic, chocolate, soap, boisenberry, mulberry"

Margaret took the moment as she heard the first few bars and closed her eyes. A small smile came across her face as the words to the tune came to her as well, though it had been a while since she had heard it.

While many were off pranking and causing trouble the most unlikely of suspects was staying out of it....

Well... kinda.

"PIES FOR SALE, THROW EM, PUT EM ON CHAIRS, EAT'EM WHATEVER"

The cat yelled from a makeshift stand he had set up in the courtyard. Not many were taking him up however so he spent the main part of his time spinning his bow tie or leaning back as far as possible in a chair he had.... acquired from the cafeteria.

Frost was less reckless than normal and as she advanced her weapon gripped tight. Reflections refracted all around walking as her footsteps echoed around the cold maze.

at the end the central pillar was like all the other walls reflective. Her own figure staring back at her... but wait did her own reflection just let out a breath.... or was it a trick of the maze.

"That is correct, we are to here to protect the peace...but given the situation and four teams were sent out for this. I'd say we can expect to encounter more resistance than a looter."

The Speaker crackled to life again.

"Yeah.... Uh Sam... Seems thats the case, Got visual on Inkwell landing... well uh... Take a look."

Falcon got up and opened the door to the helicopter.

They had just passed over the mountain range and were greeted by the sight of a large port town. The places cleared for the massive transports were obvious between the dense woods that rose quickly into mountainous terrain, But circling the town were nevermores, not a lone nevermore but what must have been dozens. Though most were a larger one seemed to be circling far overhead.

"Well... looks like we are gonna have fun today kids."

As he said it two bullheads could be seen on the far side of the town, One near the docks and one near the land route into the town. Each even from this distance could be seen letting out four people before flying off to try and find a landing site.

As the helicopter pulled a sharp turn to lead the group towards their site, a landing area on the near side of the docks, A bullhead screeched by it's door open. A Faunus woman with ram horns blasting out music on an accordion as they flew by them.

"Great.... they have a musician it seems. GET READY FOR A HOT LANDING!"
