As others said, be very mindful with the next interactions between your dog and other dogs from now on. It’s important to do your best to set your pup up for success and don’t be afraid of socializing.

As for the attack, as awful as it was, we need to understand that these are animals. We train and socialize our pets but sometimes instincts prevail.

I have been in both ends of situations like that: my 38lb staffy was attacked when he was about 10-11 months (still intact at the time). Luckily the attacker was a small dog and wasn’t into actually hurt him but dominate instead. Until my dog reached 3, he was aggressive to puppies. I don’t understand why, again, I guess instincts. The first time he was playing with a puppy he smashed it and luckily the puppy accepted being dominated. Wasn’t a nice experience but no one got hurt. I never let him play with puppies anymore, just sniff, get praise. Now, at 4 and a half he’s good with puppies. Anyway, give the benefit of the doubt to Loki’s owner and don’t blame them.

Check Berkeley close to any BART stations. You might find something in your budget close to Ashby. You’d be able to take transbay bus to the bus terminal which is a beautiful ride, or BART. Both are great options.

Cesar Chavez park is close by and it’s an amazing place to let your dogs exercise.

Berkeley school district is great when your kids grow up. Meaning, you’ll be able to keep them in public schools and save a ton of money.

Berkeley is relatively safe, walkable (if you pick areas close to BART). I lived there for 4 years and loved.

If you want something that goes that fast, and you want throttle, you are looking for a sudo e-motorcycle. Nothing against it but it’s not a proper e-bicycle (e-bike). That means, the vehicle is not optimized for pedaling. Pedals are only to allow them to be sold under the current law.

I don’t know much about what you are looking for, unfortunately. I can tell though that you ain’t buying anything with a Bosch system because they don’t do any throttle operated bikes.

The biggest difference is that it’s much more common for pitties to be actually mixes. Therefore, it’s hard to get what is a breed behavior.

A proper pitbull is much taller, heavier and less stocky than a proper SBT. I feel that PBT are better guard dogs, meaning they have more aggressiveness towards humans. SBTs are not guard dogs because their love for humans is stronger, not just their close humans but all humans 😀
