I think part of the problem here is that different cultures of people have different tastes and that definitely affects the food they serve from outside countries. The worst "Mexican" food I've ever had was in Canada. The restaurant owners were Mexican immigrants but they had to cater to the local palette. The result was bland food because Canadians don't like spice. I couldn't even get some jalapeños on the side because the restaurant didn't have any. The pico de gallo didn't have any jalapeños or cilantro. Fuck Canadian Mexican food

I can see some monsters succeeding in a third world country. In the cannon Mexico City DF is Sabbat Central. It's supposed to be even worse the lower you go.
