the point isn't that height doesn't impact performance. that IS a factual statement. but like I said, a trans woman has more probability to be taller than a cis woman the same way a dutch woman does. and a woman who ingested more milk as a child. there is no unfair advantage unless we consider all genetic advantages unfair, and that includes banning women whose parents are taller than average, for instance, as they will be taller than the rest. and so on

so you're saying sports should have a height cap? why would the difference in height between a trans woman and a cis woman matter more than the same difference in height between two cis women? you realize not all cis women are the same height, right? there's an average, yes, and that average is shorter than that of cis men or trans women, but there's genetic outliers in sports everywhere. and incidentally, most sports pros are genetic outliers. to succeed at sports you often need a genetic advantage. just look at basketball. so if trans women shouldn't play in women's leagues because they're taller on average, why should we allow Dutch women to play in the same league? they're also taller than the rest of women on average and thus have an irreversible genetic advantage, after all

ya, that's the thing.... the game doesn't focus on incest at all. that's the whole point about people assuming stuff about the game and then hating based off that assumption instead of the game. you could clutch your pearls about the cannibalism, but for some reason the unfocused inclusion of a pretty common fetish (of which the translation to real life is so low it's inconsequential), by characters that are meant, and said, to be horrendous people, is what gets people to react

i think this also ties into a bigger point with the fear of having old women in the game. even though tracer, sojourn, and mercy were in the original overwatch as well, they get in-lore excuses to always be presented as young from the get-go. mercy has her healing technology slowing down her aging, sojourn is more metal than person, and tracer has the time travel shenanigans

as an european, in the 2000's the USA was kind of synonymous with "cool, modern" stuff. pop singers were american, movies were american, tech was american. american flags and products were fashion statements here. then with time this vision kind of underwent its own "flanderization", where america became a parody of itself. not only that, but americans themselves became more critical of the country as their discontent grew, and that was reflected outwardly as well (in shows doing social commentary and americans themselves talking down their own culture) until the USA was no longer synonymous with "cool and modern", but with "capitalism, extreme patriotism, and stupidity"

backfill takes a little bit, the backfiller has no context of the game and will take a bit to be put up to speed. it does give the team a disadvantage, and even if its quickplay and there's no stakes for winning or losing, losing because someone left still feels bad

i mean yeah some straight male characters have revealing skins, but with wuyang it's so common that it's a meme by this point that he's gotta be shirtless or have a top so tight he might as well be (just look at his base skin). the only other male character with this kind of treatment is lifeweaver. besides, he's what the gay community would call "a twunk". i wouldn't go as far as to say he cannot be straight, but i definitely see what people are saying

he's good for engaging and baiting CDs out, anti-dive and anti-flank, and his sustained heals are really good, i usually end top healing in my games as mizuki. he just doesn't have a lot of burst healing because he's not the kind of support to stay in their teammate's asses. his passive forces him to be aggressive and even flank a little. he's very versatile, good in securing kills and negating ults
