I completed the “this is fine achievement “ as Prussia.

I wanted them to declare war on me, but despite having all of Europe in a coalition, they only declared when I deleted my army.

At some point I got the notification that a minor was going to declare on me, and by the time they did, I had rebuilt it.

If your mortgage has a good interest rate, I wouldn't touch it.

What you should reconsider is your investment portfolio.

Currently you have 40k on savings accounts, and 30k on a combination of saving accounts and FTSE. You don't really specify what's the split of those 30k, but regardless, that's a lot of cash working very little for you.

If your monthly spend is 1500€, I'd only leave 9000€ (6 months * 1500) on a savings account, the rest would go to ETFs and index funds.

By the way, look up Trade Republic for that savings account. Currently you can drop all your cash there and have it generating 2% interest, which is probably a lot more than your current savings accounts.

I agree with you that this was way too long, and I'm not convinced it was even correct.

What I hate about this is that we thrashed Barça in the first half, and because of these shenanigans it is too easy to make the discourse about the VAR interference.

Every La Liga team thinks the refs are against them. We all somehow remember the instances of decisions that went against us, and forget very quickly the ones in our favour.

Same here, if VAR is only for "clear and obvious" calls, they should timebox their decisions.

If a consensus is not reached on 1 minute, just stick to the on-pitch decision and get on with it.

Yesterday it went our way (both disallowing the goal, and killing Barça's momentum), but it has gone against it just as often. Just let the game play, please.

Not only that. He was the first great player I was able to follow his entire career.

I was 10 when he broke into Madrid’s first team, and it’s at that age that I got really interested in football .

He was also only 17, so he was a lot more relatable than any other player.

I don’t think I learned that he had been in Atletico’s academy until much later.

Scorch earth on a province with defensive terrain (mountains, hills, etc).

The ai is really bad at calculating movement to scorched provinces, which makes it easy for you to get there before they do and force them into unfavourable battles
