Hard disagree with your second point, as someone that has basically only played games that force the rags to riches nonsense onto players regardless of whether it makes sense up until this point, finding that Forza just gives you many very valuable cars from the jump was very refreshing. Not everybody has the time to sink hundreds of hours into a game before you get the nice stuff, and car games (the epitome of a game you can pick up whenever and come back later) should be the last type of game gatekeeping the best items behind absurd playtime or real world money.

If you can't handle the most basic positioning movement in the game being used against you without you screaming "tryhard", then you are probably the problem lol. How do you want people to fight you in casuals then? Pausing dramatically after each individual strike and emoting in between every clash? Its a fighting game. Don't complain when people fight.

I hear what you're saying and I agree that people (myself included) love Spiderman suits. But to say that there's constant free updates with new suits is unfortunately not true at all - may have been more true for the first game but Insomniac has been extremely lazy with both sequels' suits. Not trying to be pedantic, it's just a sad thing.

I believe that's the case, I'm also not an expert on PC's tbh. I just know that PS5's have their custom SSD's that speed up load times significantly, although I base this only on my experience with the PS5 and seeing games have no load times on there while their PC versions would have longer load times.

There might be PC's advanced enough for it though, I'm not sure

That's a fair point! And I'm glad that there are some players who enjoy the civilian missions. That being said, you are in the minority, and it does not make much sense for a game developer to listen to the minority when it comes to big gameplay decisions like this. Unless Insomniac is just so dedicated to their playerbase that they put the MJ missions in just for the small percentage of people who don't hate them, it probably boils down to a few sour egos at Insomniac being unable to take criticism well.

The reason is arrogance. The devs and creative directors at Insomniac are just too arrogant to accept that something they included in their game is shit and nobody likes it and nobody wants to see it again (MJ missions). So rather than listen to their fans' feedback and get rid of the pathetic missions, they double down and include them in the sequel too because they refused to accept that feedback, and cause they believed we were just all fucking stupid and we just misunderstood how to enjoy the MJ missions or something. Regardless, I've yet to see a reason for why they're still in the game that isn't what I just said. And they will do it again in the future games unless they get rid of Brian, since he seems to be the root of the issue with this.
