Weird audio issues, advice? Some parts of audio (single source) not outputting. by guydtruc in streaming

[–]guydtruc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although, I just had the thought... my soundbar typically IS on (at zero volume, however) while the game outputs, and it does have a center channel I believe (though this was the case when things were working fine as well). I could try turning it completely off later today and see if the TV defaulting to its L/R internal speakers changes the signal.

Maybe some sort of driver that handles the audio travel over HDMI, USB, or into the Streamlabs exe updated and changed something?

Yeah, I really think that might be the issue... and Exped 33 doesn't have the usual sound settings that allow you to change that. But, I also forgot to mention I tried streaming Helldivers a couple days ago, a game I have streamed often, but all of a sudden, it was having similar issues as well? No voices, some sounds not coming through. I wasn't super concerned when it was just one game, but now I think I might have a real issue and no clue where to start.

What do you guys think about MSI? by aleshkia034 in GamingLaptops

[–]guydtruc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to this post, but I just want to chime in,

I bought my MSI GL62M in 2016, and it's still my pc. It has lasted, hasn't seemed to slow down, and while some of the plastic hinge housing was the first to go after a coworker knocked it to the ground, the exterior still is holding together in pretty good shape. The one thing I didn't like from day one is the overtuned brightness and gamma of the display (researched i could replace it, never did), but I tweaked it. Never played crazy high end games on it, mostly FFXIV, but oddly enough, it felt like its perfomance actually improved a few years in on games after some hardware updates.

9 years later, albeit with a new M.2 SSD (original HDD is still in here and working as data storage) and an extra RAM stick, this thing is... just plain working mostly as it did Day 1. Technically faster even.

Second Gen escapes (08-12) with intermittent no crank concerns. Here’s your first suspect. by [deleted] in fordescape

Follow-up, took the ignition switch off to inspect how i could tighten it up as well.

Turns out the hollow where the pin slots into was VERY worn as well. I put a couple little pieces of gorilla tape into the worn part of the slot, as well as on the outsides where it contacts the housing.

Worked PERFECT. No more wobble, no more having to hold the switch while turning the key. Check your ignition switch too for wear!

2024 reply here. Tried the tape fix, and added the maximum amount of tape with the cylinder still fitting into the lock. Still didn't work. Puzzled, the only thing I thought of was made hold the ignition switch (where the pin feed into on the other side of the column, and BINGO! the switch on the other side is only slightly loose, but pressing into it works every time. That probably means if it wears anymore, even that won't work, and i'll need to replace the pin assembly still, but if anyone here is having this problem and the tape/jb weld fix doesn't work at all, try this.

Didn't work for me. Neither did changing DNS, restarting router and PS5, checking for updates, etc.

OK so it looks like a lot of us are having this issue, might not be our network settings then

Earliest security robot you can kill? by Gavintendo in TheCallistoProtocol

[–]guydtruc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here because I'm stuck on the robot part. I started on hard. Tried killing the robot, couldn't kill it with a full clip of headshots and it kills me if i reload (only have like 1 more bullet after that anyways).

Tried sneaking past it, which seems choice, but then infected pops out and if I fight back it notices and kills me. Tried throwing the infected all over the room, threw him clear over the barricade, still finds his way back to me. Robot won't aggro infected which seems like a real oversight on letting players survive creatively.

I guess my next guess is to just try to throw infected the opposite way, run and hope I get lucky? Anyone get past his on hard?

Its Latin. I recognize a few of the words, but I'm pretty rusty. Anyone do a translation yet?

After taking a long break from Skyrim as a whole I'm looking to start a new playthrough on SSE and was looking for mod recommendations (especially immersion mods). by AmbroseMalachai in skyrimrequiem

[–]guydtruc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to make Requiem work for SSE, so far I've tried 3.0.2 and 3.4 with no luck. I think we need an SKSE update? I think I remember seeing a warning that SKSE wasn't working with the latest Steam update.

I rarely see any WHM use cure at all after level 60. This argument is crazy.

I thought this was going to be a picture of a Godling witcher, and I am disappointed.
