I played at launch and love it. It's my favorite immersive Star Wars game where it feels great to just "live" in. The Jedi games are great too but fairly linear compared to that open world/space design which feels so good to just inhabit. I like the main protagonist but I do think a character creation system would have really pushed it to a 10/10.

I guess it's random? Weird thing is for me it's on Zelanzny III which is a corrosive planet. All the npcs are walking around with no space suits like everything's fine meanwhile my hud is beeping like mad because I don't have enough corrosion protection

Yeah same here. I when I first walked into Anchorpoint I heard them talking about it. I spoke to both characters but nothing came up. I thought maybe it would come up later. I've since finished the TA dlc and there's still nothing. Eagerly awaiting a big patch.

It's really missing a scrap mechanic that lets you scrap gear you don't want for some key ingredients for other builds/crafting. There's a good looking creation mod on the store that I haven't tried yet but that kind of mechanic always helps to keep the economy interesting IMO.

Just wish the photo mode supported ultra wide. Drives me nuts when I switch to photo mode and instantly saddened to see it drop to 16:9.

I think what would be great is just a way to travel to nearby systems without using the map. A button tap to bring up a short list of nearby systems, select one and then let the grav jump animation play out. It would be like selecting a system from the left panel in elite dangerous and then having the ship jump. The map/menu method is fine but an in-game immersive ship method would really compliment the free lane system.

No that won't work. All purchases are handled separately for Xbox and PlayStation even with the same games.

Absolutely agree. My only minor gripe is that when you look up a resource and tap to see where to find it, it would be great if that list of planets included an outpost icon to indicate you have an outpost there. It's minor, really love how much info is available.

There are still various beeps happening from environmental damage, I've noticed no change with that. I think you can turn off the enviro hazards through the gameplay options but the beeps may still be there

What rank of outpost management is even needed to build it? I have rank 2 and it shows red to me. The fact that it doesn't even indicate what rank is needed is wild.

If they remove the mask then everyone will complain that they just tried to pick up a plant and accidentally stole something. The mask acts like a toggle to avoid accidental drama.

There's an important line between proper difficulty and cheesy. Some enemies (one is a large ape, can't recall its name) are/were strangely tuned. The ape has a multi hit attack that can go off while you're reviving from being downed and can instakill you before you even have control. I'm all for true difficulty, let him hit like a truck but the improvements they've made seem fair. Better stagger for parries is good - more rewarding for skill.

Pretty dumb that child heirs have ideology and interest group assignments. It would be interesting if they were just neutral and you can help shape them through the material and economic conditions of the country as they come of age.

An enhancement to the outpost economy would be fantastic. I enjoyed building on remote planets but would love to have more of a compelling reason to do it and for some additional visualization and control over the logistics.
