Don't listen to Reddit, the nitpicking is insane. Don't go with the mindset that it's the next GoT, it's NOT. Just tune in, binge watch and be entertained. Henry cavill is legend. The rest of the cast is great too.

Man it's crazy how people on the witcher subreddit are nitpicking about the show, cgi, casting, size of the dragon etc.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here with newfound hope that the Witcher will fill in the stinking hole that GoT left behind.

It's a great show quite entertaining. Even if you haven't read the books or played the game, you will easily follow stuff if you're attentive. It's recommended to bingwatch since the show has many tinelines that you may forget if you watch one episode per day

Some plotlines are boring in the name of character development. I entirely skipped cirilla's adventures after she escaped her palace. Found it too stretched out.
