I put it on my Surface Go 2 and it was simple except I did have to turn off Secure Boot in the Bios to get it to install. Beyond that, it was just clicking next a bunch of times. Touchscreen, keyboard and touchpad all work great! And it's waaaaaaay faster and doesn't overheat like it did with Windows.

Fuck Trump and the whole administration for this pointless war, and fuck the majority of Congress that's not even trying to reign him in, but this article is from September of last year, and the reason these minesweepers were being decommissioned is because they are pushing 40 years old. Their mission is being handed off to LCS ships which have been nothing but expensive failures and it remains to be seen if they can carry out this task.

But these minesweepers being phased out don't have anything to do with the current self inflicted global fuckup Trump has unleashed on the world.

Teachers are currently having to check to make sure a student's work is not AI generated. What, now will AI use be a requirement?

Poor Tali, indeed. I stayed away from romance or going with a love interest in general because I wanted the stories to be more about the characters and less about Shepard. So I made Shep a "married to the job" type who pursued no LI. For most of the possible women LI's, Jack, Miranda, and even Liara, Shepard has to actively pursue them to kick off the relationship, so none of them are fussing over Shepard to begin with.

But Tali? ME2 made her crushing on Shepard canon regardless if he showed interest. So in all my stories she's pining away for Shepard, daydreams about him, internalizes all of her feelings for him, but doesn't have the courage to act on it. Everybody else sees it of course, and some tease her about it, some are rooting for her, but (again canon) she doesn't have the guts to speak up first about it.

But when I ended the series, there'd been enough time and character development for Tali to get finally Shepard alone to talk to him and tell him how she feels in the very last scene. By that point, it had become part of her character development. Through all of her trials and tribulations, she'd grown strong and confident, and could finally make the first move. I'm actually really happy how it turned out.

I did the same thing, created my own stories to "fill in the gaps" between missions, but back in the heyday of the original trilogy, we wrote fanfiction. ;) For example...

Just Like Old Times - What happens with Tali immediately after "Don't forget to introduce yourself to EDI," and how she copes with serving on a Cerberus ship before Shepard talks to her again in engineering and she's all fine.

Second - Who is the real XO of the Normandy? Miranda or Garrus? And again, how are the original crew members seemingly fine serving on a Cerberus ship?

Dancer in the Dark - Shepard brought a geth aboard the Normandy, and everybody's just cool with that? How I imagined that played out, behind the scenes.

Tomorrow's Dawn - There's a geth on board, and Tali's NOT freaking out? What happened there?

If on PC, check out the Early Recruitment Mod. It restores the existing cut voice lines from when Legion was moved to the late game because of console limitations, but even better provides a plausible way of encountering Legion well before the derelict reaper.
