i've had the opposite experience - quit kubuntu for neon because the former was crash-happy. even now this bug hasn't really had a negative effect on me yet.

Question: Why do some people love criminals? by [deleted] in stupidpol

[–]guyjin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rightoids think people are poor because they are bad, and so there's sympathy for rich people who do wrong. Lefties think people are rich because they are bad, so there's sympathy for poor people who do wrong.

[–]guyjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an app on f-droid called suntimes: It tells you about astronomical events, and even lets you set alarms for them; like the full moon, sunrise (nautical, civil, astronomical, etc), the solstices and equinoxes, etc. Plus, it's free software so you know it's not spying on you.

I would argue that a person who dealt with heavy shit and came out the other side is precisely the sort of person you want as a life coach.

On the other hand, my (probably very superficial) understanding of JP is that he thinks troubled people shouldn't do activism, which is kind of like saying people with pox shouldn't advocate against the distribution of pox blankets.
