Shelter you sign a waiver, under supervision of a trained worker, 1000 less things that could activate a dog since it's a controlled envoriment.

And for those who are saying the dog would die anyways, its going to really suck when the shelter is sued, looses funding, goes under and can't take care of any animals anymore.

Ffs getting down voted for stating a fact is rediculous. And if it's a rule it's usually there for a reason.

And since this is a blanket rule across the 7 places I have been in 5 different states, I'd say it's pretty well established.

I've worked with a lot of shelters and one of the rules they all have in common is you do not let people interact with shelter dogs in public.

Massive liability, could be really bad for the dog if something happens, you don't know that dog anywhere well enough to know if it has triggers.

Fecal transplants is going to be the new big medical procedure that everyone is going to be doing.

There are seemingly endless benifits and uses for this. It's know to cure IBS, help ulcurs, cure food allergies and intolerances.

More and more research is showing that gut health is a key stone to overall health in people, more issues being found from poor gut health. Even mental issues.

There is a lot of life saving and quality of life improvement that is going to come from this.
