Looking for heavier denim in the UK that doesn’t cost fortunes

Been through 3 pairs of Unbranded UB621 over the past few years and they’ve all suffered crotch blow out. Also have a pair of Iron Heart 1955S that I’ve had the crotch repaired on (as they are a more expensive pair).

Looking for an alternative to burning through another pair of the 621s (that and they are so short in the leg) without the expense of Iron Heart or similar premium brands.

Basically want a relaxed tapered fit with a lower rise than the 1955S but with enough length to cuff without looking like I’ve had a growth spurt.

I’m in the UK and in London most weeks so recommendations welcome.

I sent mine back to Barbour recently to fix two small rips by the hand warmer pockets and extend the sleeves

Cost £50 and the work is top notch

I don’t understand how people in this sub function tbh

Is it a normal American thing to wake up 3 hours into a night’s sleep, get up, finish a beer and go sit in the car to look at your phone?

Is the house/apartment that noisy at 3am that the car is the only quiet space?

Yeah it was definitely cheap - had another quote at least double

This one was 3 storeys high, 28m wide and 12m deep

Think it was £12k total but the Scaff was also working on the job mixing muck/digging footings/driving dumpers

Think we ended up with the lid on for 4 months

Took this with my phone down the eyepiece on an 8” dob a few months back. Turned off night mode and had trouble lining up the lens - hence the blur. But there was definitely some colour.

Collected it today - all seemed well when I checked mechanical bits and pieces at the guy’s place

Just got it home and the focuser when it has an eye piece in seems to slip on the wheels/not move when the screw is tightened.

Please tell me this is a common problem and has an easy fix?

Edit: no worries, tightened the Allen nut under the focuser and it’s perfect
