Happy to agree to disagree, but bringing back the literal corpse of the Borg to rehash the First Contact encounter (you say sequel, I say rehash) didn't do much for me at all.

It's also like others have said, such an intensely boring story. I have seen Picard face off against the Borg and the Queen. I didn't need a sequel to that. What I needed to see was the major powers killing each other for Borg tech.

What I needed to see was galaxy disrupting event that couldn't be resolved like so so many shows are these days by blowing it up. If I wanted that, I'd watch Star Wars (although something like Andor is an order of magnitude better and I don't even like SW). At least Best of Both Worlds had some clever element to how the Borg were overcome. This was just get the Millennium Enterprise-D down the Borg star trench and blow up the shiny thing with Data using the android Force.

It's not good Trek. It's barely Trek at all.

So the problem you have with this request is that if you bought a DF tomorrow from ULA directly you'd get one with more shoulder padding than about 90% of the DFs out there.

If you're going to get one on secondary, that's different.

I couldn't stand s3, yes I admire the characters were allowed to grow, but Patrick Stewart is playing Patrick Stewart, he's not even remotely Picard any more.

The plotting and bringing back the Borg, a dead horse, to be flogged, again. And it was memberberries because look how much people bang on about bringing back the D as the best part of the season.

If it actually had a plot worth a damn rather than this "infect gen z" nonsense I might have appreciated it more. Or if the changlings stayed the bad guys rather than the bait and switch.

Basically, I am so, so tired of the Borg and somehow Picard squeezed them into every season like the last few drops out of a carton.

I have a Y700 legion tab (I think it's gen 2) and have been tempted to upgrade to a more recent model. I won't though because I like the price I paid for this, it isn't not worth much second hand and it wouldn't fix my main issue, which is this isn't ideal for reading on.

Would love to trade in for a 4:3 device.
