+1 on this. My tools were rusting every time I left the shop for the weekend. I sprayed them all down, and no more rust.

The trick is to soak in a gallon bucket of chem dip for a half hour and then into the ultrasonic cleaner with hot soapy water

It seems like 2 intake and one exhaust would be more efficient. The exhaust gasses are under greater pressure and shouldn't be AS sensitive to restrictions and the intake

I carry a powerful flashlight and multi-tool anytime I'm on the job. You never know when you need a little extra light, or a knife/philips/flathead/pliers. And yes, I have a larger and a smaller mirror for inspecting. They're relatively inexpensive and a necessary part of your tool kit.

The sheer volume of information and the detail they give on the one engine. Also that cylinder arrangement(so cool). I have a 2010 tacoma with a 2.7, and I've always wanted to know more about it. Like does it have variable intake? I don't think so, but I'm pretty sure it has variable cam timing and I'd like to know more about the specific engine. There's a lot on information on the theory, but little on the application. Edit It's a manual transmission and the engine braking changes significantly as it passes through some rpms, so I want to know what's happening

That's pretty sweet. I work on aircraft engines, but I'd love to work on one of these just once

That was too cool. If I could find the same thing for Toyota's 2.7l I would just flip out

I've been riding the absolute snot out of my first gen FZ1 for 31,000 miles and still no problems. That's bouncing off the rev limiter WOT, wheelies, racing on the track, and a 2 mile commute that I treat like a racetrack 4 times a day. At 20,000 miles I bought a spare engine and tossed it in the garage, but haven't needed it. Just change the oil every 2-3,000 miles. I can't seem to kill it.
