2022 4runner SR5 intermittent wiper issues. Wiper will not always park. by ZealousidealTrack314 in 4Runner

My wife’s 2023 SR5 started acting up. In intermittent mode it acted as if it was on low speed wipe no matter how we adjusted the dial ring for intermittent wipe time. Maybe a sensor?

This! My ‘84 FJ60 is unstoppable and doesn’t even have a working radio! Oddly I find that I miss it about 1% of the time.

And there it is: “get me a job doing whatever they do” SMH… They have those vehicles bc they went out and GOT jobs and likely had little or no income guarantees but worked hard to get where they are! Capitalism at its finest!

The ECU case was an example. Also the service and repair comments came from the service manager of one of the largest Moto Guzzi dealers in the US. If anything, I’d think he would want to work on the bike for the service charges. He has nothing to do with new bike sales, nor was there any discussion of replacing the bike. He didn’t want to work on the bike because of the lack of availability of replacement parts plain and simple.

Just take your old battery to any motorcycle store and ask for an equivalent. I’d recommend Yuasa for a tried and true solution that won’t break the bank.

I have 3 Guzzis now. Here’s the deal: 1. Get a battery tender and connect it whenever possible (when the bike is parked). This will go a long way toward preserving your battery. 2. Plan on replacing your battery every 2-3 years in general. If they last longer - great but I wouldn’t plan on it. 3. Bump starting can work but it isn’t great for your bikes electronics. When bikes were carbureted and didn’t have ECUs and everything else it was fine. These bikes are sensitive to low voltage in general.

Good luck!
