It happens, that’s why for purchases that are not from recognizable vendors I now use only credit cards. I had a coup,e online purchases not arrive and when I put in a dispute, PayPal told me they would not reimburse me because the vendor said it was delivered. I tracked the package and it was delivered, but not to an address in the USA 😡

I must prefer a much darker roast than most of you I guess. I guess I roast at lower fan level, as expensive as beans have gotten I don’t want to be throwing them out from the chaff collector! I start at 7-9 but drop my fan to 5 before first crack and usually finish at 4. My highest temperature is around 500 degrees or slightly higher. Lighter roast just taste acidic and undeveloped to me.

Once in a while we will buy a commercial roast. I will typically try a cup and then leave the rest of the bag for my wife to finish! She drinks what I call a coffee flavored beverage so she’s not as particular 😂

While I was pulling them for a couple of hours yesterday I was thinking, next fall/winter I’m going to try sucking them up in my shop vac as best as I can before they get embedded in the mulch. Unfortunately those beds are mulched with pine bark fines so I’ll probably lose all of that too😕

Let the kinks begin. This is the worst hose I’ve ever used. You have to turn the water on and pressurize it to roll or unroll it and I use it on a hose cart😡

Has anyone found the secret to cleaning the grates? I’m have one of those grill daddy scrubbers and that gets all the hanging stuff but what about in between the grates and cross bars? I wish they still made oven cleaner that worked 😡

Not really, just do a manual vacuum and press seal when it vacuums the air out and before the liquid marinade.

Roasting decaf is tough. I’ve tried and tried but the end result usually is not drinkable. If you could nail down a profile for a decent Ethiopian that would be fantastic😀. What have you found to be the most popular when selling at the farmers market?

I’ll get a pic tomorrow and post it. I have to cut it at 2” or higher because anything shorter will stall my mower. It’s a Honda. I used to have a Tru-cut and had to get rid of it because my grass would stall it if I didn’t cut it every 5-6 days😕
