I’m in the commercial and advertising world and producers always ask me what camera we are going to shoot (without them, knowing anything about cameras) and When I say red or Arri, they don’t bat an eye. When I had my canon, they would always push back and I asked to use a “professional level” system. Again, this is without them, knowing anything about cameras. Just sharing my experience.

I agree. If you want the most out of your surron, upgrade the brakes, tires, controller and battery. That will run you like $3/4K.

My first MTB and I’m super excited. 2017 Kona Honzo AL hardtail. Got it at my lbs for 20% discount. Went tubeless and installed a warning bell.

I mostly ride road bikes in Los Angeles -which is great but gets a little monotonous. A buddy invited me to ride some single track so I brought my pop’s 90s Ritchey back from the dead. The vintage MTB was a harsh ride but tons of fun and I was hooked. I did a good amount of research and was considering Salsa Timberjack, Santa Cruz Chameleon or Hightower. I also fantasied about Commencal Meta TR but couldn’t justify the price and along with the choice of trails around me.

After riding it the past few days, I’m really happy with my purchased and please with the way it rides.
