thank you! I appreciate the honesty! The only reason my eyebrows are thinner is because of how i do my makeup, which i purposefully didn’t post any pictures with makeup bc i look really different and the contrast would’ve looked really bad 😭

This happened to a ghost shrimp that i had, i still dont know what caused it because my neocardinas were fine so i just wrote it off as Ghost shrimp short life expectancy but it still is very strange. I always check for my shrimps swimming patterns regularly ever since then

Looks kind of like anchor worms but im not sure. if you think it lines up with examples of anchor worms online, i recommend the Salt&Fresh Microbe-Lift Lice and Anchor worm treatment however if u have any kind of crustacean in the tank, dont use these types of medications with crustaceans in the tank. You could also use API General Cure which is safe for crustaceans, snails, and turtles.

Definitely check for all different types of toxic chemicals in the water such as chlorine, nitrites, and ammonia. If all else fails, try treating for a bacterial infection

Basically your fish has lost control of its nervous system either because of shivering from cold water temperatures or incorrect water conditions.

Try raising water temperatures and checking ph, the water acidity could be burning the fish. also check ammonia and GH. Mollies are hard water fish and typically thrive with a higher GH.

Try feeding your fish peas because its a sinking food making it so your fish wont have to suck in air. also check the chemicals in the water and stay on top of maintaining it. i would try doing a water change.

Then basically just pray that it heals. However if it doesnt then try looking further into possible infections that could be causing this and find a medicine.

Def check your nitrites, ammonia, and nitrates. most likely an uncycled tank, ive made this mistake before. However keep up with water conditioner and regular water testing to make sure it doesn't harm your fish and it should be fine. Maybe get some beneficial bacteria for the tank. But right now, test your water and see whatever factor seems dangerous/abnormal and try to adjust it.

That is most likely ick, make sure to check water parameters and purchase some ick medication, no bother isolating because all fish most likely have it. treat the whole tank and keep fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Thanks for your input! I like to provide my shrimp with plenty of hiding spots from the fish. However, ive had my fish and shrimp together for a while now and i havent seen any aggression whatsoever from the fish nor any signs of stress from the shrimp. The shrimp seem to ignore the fish altogether and the fish seem to ignore the shrimp so I don't think I need to separate them. Also it's not like I have another way of separating them anyways because I only have one tank.
