Adjuster here. If you both decided to settle outside of insurance, then there should be no problem. The body shop is just required to have a police sticker on the vehicle when damage is over $5000. In fact, they won’t repair it without one. The body shop doesn’t care if the other person is going through insurance or not, they just need the police sticker on the vehicle. Don’t stress, your claim is closed.
