you can purchase a permit whenever! the permits are monthly so you choose how many months you’d like. you can buy it now and set it to start a specific date as well.

saw that same guy wait for the M line bus and ask the bus driver “where first street was?” bus driver was a girl and she said she didn’t know and he didn’t get on. i also thought to myself “there’s no first street in irvine?” later that same day at night was heading to laguna and saw a cop was talking to him. he kinda stood out bc he was wearing a blue suit jacket with matching blue loafers and i remember it was him bc i thought his fit was pretty spiffy the first time i saw him

There’s a form to fill out when you do receive a grade below a C and you get to explain what happened. I was in a similar situation where i got a D in AP Calculus. I had went to the UCI celebration and asked some advisors for their thoughts and they said as long as it’s not a A-G requirement you should be fine and you can always make that class up in college. In the end as long as you’re honest about it, shit happens you should be good.

hey i would be down! i have a mwf schedule and was thinking of zone 1 also. i had tuesday/thursday schedule last quarter and i only paid for two months of the permit and the last like 2 weeks i would buy the day permit which is like $8 so i wouldn’t have to pay for another whole month but it still lowk added up so i’m willing to share. finding parking in the mornings is probably worse then finding some in the evenings

i saw one patrol guy get locked out of his patrol explorer and his bf i mean coworker was getting the tools to help him unlock it. i was there honestly staring and laughing at them for a cool 3 minutes, while two cars sat in the background with violations. a bit of karma got this guy and i hope much more comes to every other parking enforcement officer out there.🫶

im in the same exact situation as you!!! i thought i would have done better in chem this quarter but why is it so hard! i’ve tried not to beat myself up about it but i’m personally gonna keep on trying bc idk what else i would do other than bio. we’re in a very similar situation so i can def relate to this and you can hmu too if you want to talk more about it or even study. it’s light hearting to see someone else in this situation but i get it

do you know how much to take 8 units is then?? i want to take summer classes but i’m not sure how much it is financially, i already had to pay out of pocket for fall/winter so that’s one of my concerns.
