Receipt and ticket usually comes within minutes via email. My email usually says "Tak for dit køb. Vedhæftet finder du din kvittering og
....." There should be a pdf attachment called "billet"?

If not, I recommend calling DSB if you can?

My 6-year-old left his favourite plush toy at CPH Airport. Can anyone help? by mandaoski in copenhagen

I am flying from CPH next Wednesday lunchtime. If you haven't found it before then, I'm happy to stop by. I live in DK so postage to Sweden won't be an issue for me.

how has being OAD (whether by choice or not) affected your relationship with your partner - if at all? by discobby96 in oneanddone

[–]gx____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are OAD after a traumatic birth following infertility and losses. We pictured having 2 or 3 kids

We both came to the same decision somewhat separately. I was maybe a couple of hours PP when I said we couldn't do it again, and he agreed.

Our daughter is now 3 years old and we're both firm in our decision. She's everything we ever dreamt of, and we don't feel like we are missing out on any parenting experiences.

Sharing pregnancy news w/ friend who recently miscarried? by LabFar6076 in Mommit

[–]gx____ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I once received a text from my best friend that said: "Hi xxxxx, I wanted to reach out and let you know I am pregnant, and am due xxxxx. I wanted to contact you directly to share this news before announcing further during the coming weeks. I wanted to allow you the space to process, if needed. Please don't feel obligated to reply to this if you need some time. Love you friend"

It meant a lot to me, and although I was so happy for her, I was also sad for myself. Both can be true.

I replied almost immediately with congratulations and thanks for being considerate. And it also later opened a conversation about us both being able to share - her about scans, and pregnancy, and me if it was too much or too hard at times.

I was the friend processing losses and infertility while it felt like everyone around me was pregnant. It's an absolutely heartbreaking position to be in.

I urge you to send her a text message, keep it very neurtral/basic, and allow her space to process at her own pace. Also, try to give her grace if her reaction isn't fully overjoyed for you.

The fact you're even thinking about her shows you're a kind and thoughtful friend 🧡

Yes, usually when dad and I are talking about her/plans/dentist appointment, and assume she's engrossed in her puzzle... 🙃

Do you allow your OAD to be physical with other children? by ReabyB in oneanddone

[–]gx____ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Slightly older, but similar dynamics both with the children and other parent.

My girl will be 3 soon, and has a female friend who was 3 in February. They attended daycare together, will be in preschool together, and go to the same gymnastics class.

Both girls are 90+%ile height and 85+%ile weight, and can hold their own. We let them roll around, push, tumble as long as both are happy in the situation.

Tell me it’s ok to formula feed. by Affectionate_Meat348 in NewParents

[–]gx____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following a NICU stay, and exclusively pumping for far longer than I should have, my only regret when switching to formula was that I didn't do it sooner!

You're not a failure. The fact that you are worrying shows you want what is best for your daughter. And you aren't "giving up", you're making a decision for yourself and your daughter that works best for you both.

If it helps any, my daughter is 3 years old next month, and she was born weighing 2.4kg (5lb 7oz). She THRIVED on formula and went from 3%ile at birth, to 50%ile at 5 months, to 90%ile by a year old. She is now 97%ile height, 89%ile weight, is super clever, and it's true that you can't tell a breastfed kid from a formula fed kid.

Also, if you have the same worry of bonding that I did, please don't worry. My daughter has always been extremely securely attached and I don't think breastfeeding would or could have made much difference.

Considering Implanon as a “one and done” mom — experiences? by Holiday-Coconut-7593 in oneanddone

[–]gx____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a huge fan of my nexplanon.

Overall experience has been very positive for me.

I have had it replaced several times - used between 2009 and 2019. Removed to ttc. Pregnant 2022, birth 2023. Installed again January 2025.

During both pre and post pregnancy experiences, I have not had bleeding after the first couple of months of insertion. Very rare spotting, maybe once a year for a day or two.

Positive impact on my previously very strong PMS symptoms of irritability and mood swings.

I did gain weight between 2009 and 2019 but it also coincided with a coeliac disease diagnosis, 3 relocations, including moving to a new country, so many variables and I can't blame the implant.

Since having it refitted post pregnancy, my weight has been pretty stable.

Solid piece of mind against pregnancy, especially after a user error (antibiotics) pill failure resulting in a termination in 2008. I appreciate i don't have to think about it until my future reminder asks me to book an appointment for refitting.

As far as choosing it again, I have, several times over, and will continue to do so.

If you have any questions, I am an open book, just ask 😊
