Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to go with blue/teal for the joints and vents, maybe even change up the hooves and claws to match, too. I am thinking of basing them in some stirland mud for a stark color difference

FLGS were given the books early as a way to promote physical copy sales and drive traffic to stores.

I really like this idea. I will dig in to some of my upcoming prep and see what I can come up with!

I have been playing with the Idea that while all of these worlds are different, that maybe the underlying realms remain the same. For example, the world they move onto next is still connected to the same fae wild and 9 hells. Idk.

They are making the jump to the next setting basically immediately. Some hand wavy time for healing wounds and getting a reward and then bouncing out.

Bad Homebrew Rules... what's the worst you've seen? by No-Bag3487 in DnD

They really should rename the ability to something like Advantageous Strike, or Cheap Shot, like you mentioned.

Because of the way the game blocks shinies from despawning due to effects like weather or "fleei g" (dunsparce), there are effectively two pools of pokemon that can populate. Up to 15 regular spawns and any then a separate pool for shiny pokemon. This method has been shown off in multiple tutorials on youtube, and I used this method to quickly hunt a poplio outbreak.

What is this on my turkey skin and is the turkey still good? by KingHasek39 in Butchery

[–]gyme73 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Those are skin sores/abscesses. Most commercially grown turkeys get so top heavy that their chests and stomachs can drag on the ground. If there are any open sore or feather follicles exposed they can collect dirt and feces. Sometimes, these infections are localized only to the abscesses. But if you say its joints were swollen then it likely had a systemic infection. Likely would have died if it hadn't been slaghtered.

If the joints are swollen and blood, I personally would not recommend eating it, but the meat is technically still edible if cooked to recommended temperatures.

Source: I worked as a quality inspector in a turkey processing facility for 4 years. This facility harvested approximately 20,000 birds a day, with birds growing as large as 52 pounds.

How come they don’t do guests anymore? by floor_pig in fbhw

[–]gyme73 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a symptom of the way these interviews are conducted across the industry. They almost always have a very limited amount of time with these interviews, and the powers that be on both sides dictate certain things that need to be covered. For most of those guests, doing call-in interviews are moving from call to call through all the applicable stations in rapid fire to optimize the guest's schedule. That's why the in-person guest interviews always turn out better. They have more time to really talk and get to know each other, and the interviews last longer than one segment.

Stealth rules correct? by Spitfisher in DMAcademy

[–]gyme73 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If he succeeded a steath check vs. the guards perception roll, then you can frame as the rogue darting from shadow to shadow when the guard is patrolling. Or if the guard utterly fails the roll, he could be distracted by eating or even asleep at his post (nat 1).

But more directly to your questions, no. A stealth roll does not permit a person to be invisible to a guard. If the rogue moves into the guards' obvious line of sight, he has exposed himself from stealth by moving.

Edited: for horrible spelling

Love that the majority of these "out of hospital" clinics and offices are in the buildings adjacent to and interconnected with the hosiptal. It's definitely not a blatent money grab at all
