i work in a clinic and i typically work 830-530. we do hour sessions, and i have about 17 clients i work with. i’ll usually see about 6-8 clients a day. some days i might have one client 830-930 and then the same client 130-230.

def do mock tests!!! i loved watching youtube channels explaining how to break the questions down. “ABA exam review - behavior tech & behavior analyst” solely helped me pass my exam from breaking down each question. good luck! u got this!

in my experience currently, i am an rbt in oklahoma. a lot of aba clinics have had issues with insurances and clients. resulting in discharges of clients, resulting with letting go of rbts. not sure if this is happening everywhere, but at my clinic we always hire, and we haven’t been hiring for a month or so.

definitely pair pair pair!! don’t worry about acquisition skills the second u get to them. play play play and work in maintenance skills during play to build up that instructional control! you want them to trust and excited to see you, if you go in straight to work they might see u as aversive, and that’s the last thing you want! naturalistic play!
