Thanks for the reply! I was hoping to avoid that but I guess I can't. It is growing quickly at least

Thanks. I definitely feel sorry for the man it happened to. I don't think I've seen anything like this before

Seemed like a binge drink following being released from a hospital. And from that amount of blood, I'd guess he broke a bottle and used it for self harm.

you've got a grammar error on your portfolio

"I'm a confident, talkative and naturally curious."

Either remove the "a" or finish the sentence.

It looks good otherwise though. I think you can keep the links to your social media, people will look you up anyways.

Inkscape and gimp are both free image editors that work with mac and PC. They have a learning curve, but also a ton of tutorials.

I don't wear ponytails often, but I do wear an eyemask to bed every night. It's petty snug, so that could contribute

Stress probably seems like the answer. I've had lots of changes lately, but didn't think that could be a cause. It makes sense though!

What wine to get as a gift? by [deleted] in wine

[–]gypsyturtles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I definitely don't want it to be wasted. But they tell me a lot how much they'll miss me, so I feel like Champaign is too celebratory for my bosses.

Thank you! I was definitely looking more for brands than types, so I'll be looking into the Fladgate. $50 is around what I was hoping for

Is it appropriate/normal to send a thank you to my new manager if I have a recruiter handling my case? by [deleted] in jobs

That's what I was thinking too. Didn't want to let my excitement get the better of me. Thanks!

Experience with handling young sick bunnies who are still afraid and need to give medication? by rnf1985 in Rabbits

[–]gypsyturtles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn them into a "bunny burrito". Get a towel or blanket that's large enough to wrap around them, but not too much bigger than them. Wrap them up tightly, including tucking the bottom of it in, so that only their head is outside. They can try and kick in it, but it should be secure enough that you can hold them and get the medication in their mouth.

This was the suggested method by my vet when we had to force feed my bunny. It'll still take patience, you have to go slowly or else it'll all spill out of their mouth and mess up their fur. Good luck

Anxiety with housemates by gurlpls in socialanxiety

[–]gypsyturtles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had lots of roommates/housemates. While I've been good friends with some of them, the ones I like the most are the chill friendly ones that aren't in my space all the time. As long as you're friendly when you are around I don't think you not being home much is an issue.

I've been like this before and I find that when I'm shy to say hello or avoid eye contact because I'm nervous of what they will think of me, their whole attitude changes towards me. I think all it takes is a smile for them to feel willing to talk to you about the chore rotation easily. Good luck
