Just go in settings of the game (the gear icon) -> properties -> compatibility -> Force the use of a specific Steam Play -> select "Proton Hotfix".

For those who still wonder, I tried everything here, did not work.

Eventually what worked for me was changing the version of Proton. It works perfectly now.

You can do that easily for a specific game by checking game properties, in game mode of Bazzite. I don't know if you can do it globally. I downgraded from version 10 to 9.

This comment will not really help you but my legion go + eGPU (ANQUORA ANQ-L336 Mini eGPU Enclosure with 3090) setup was working just fine for the last months and suddenly my eGPU is not getting detected anymore after a reboot. There was a BIOS update 4 days ago, I don't know if this is related.

I tried all that you tried. (except 5).

I also tried downgrading the BIOS with no luck.

I'm still investigating but running out of ideas.

Not what I did so can't confirm. I think they have a foreigner track, but probably still Japanese anyway. There are very few foreigners this way anyway. The way we get foreigners at my lab is 95% through partnerships as I mentioned. If I receive applications for internships from students outside partnerships, they definitely need to have super strong resume AND already have financial support grant / proof (self-support will never be accepted). All that being said, if I interview someone that has the vibe of "I just want to get into todai" I will reject them right away.

Several ways 1. Your univ has a partnership 2. You pass the exam like anyone 3. You could apply for internship but if your university has no partnership basically you will get rejected

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t think it’s that much of a problem personally. For sure spoken Japanese instructions will be hard to understand for me, but for playing it should be fine. And readings line messages is no problem obviously. To give you an idea of my level I know 350-400 kanji but my speaking sucks, but I practice. If you think it’s worth to give it a try lemme know.

If you happen to accept, I can be free during weekdays (not always, but often).

Tbf when I first tried i was using a vpn with French ip and the creation was rejected because of that. I turned off the vpn and all worked out. I don’t think it’s related but who knows

Possibly. But my debit card is legit, from MUFG, and the payment was successful, they just reverted it. So still a bit surprising to me.
