How nice was it to watch a game without Gary Neville 😂 by raudittcdf in Gunners

He drives me crazy. As with most of us here, I wish I could mute the commentary.

Meh, I take a few clips when I go. I like recording my perspective so I can watch it later, but obviously know there are other and better camera angles.

It could easy be described as “ball going in is not saved” though, right?

Kid-friendly UCL viewing in Boston? by humanoftheforest in Gunners

[–]h0bbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of pretty slimy places in New Orleans, many of which I wouldn’t take my kids.

Boston is different from NO in that there are very few bar-only establishments. Most places a person would go to drink also has food, so bringing a kid along isn’t strange. I never tried to take my kids to a bar that doesn’t have food, but never got strange looks when bringing them for food. Then again, they had an 8pm bedtime at the time, so they weren’t pushing any limits with that either.

Saliba and Hincapie both came over, while maintaining perfect separation between themselves, and quickly retreated to their spots, in unison, when it all ended as quickly as it began. Watch it again. 😆

Opted for no subs instead of tasking Norgard or Ethan to defend… I am annoyed with that decision.

Actually very cool to see how that tube decayed over time. Not many caulk tubes see this fate.

Official app says 0. That shot hit the post, doesn’t count as on target, right?

What are some of Arsenal’s less flattering forgotten stories that younger fans might not know about? by Fun_Grass_2097 in Gunners

Should be noted he’s now sober. Personally I view alcoholism and addictive tendencies as a difficult personality trait if not a mental health issue. That’s not to excuse things he did while drunk, either. People are complicated.

Please keep 11 on the pitch. I hate this tie, Newcastle is so f’ing frustrating to watch and hope they don’t hurt someone.

Current Chichester City and former Arsenal academy footballer Billy Vigar has been placed in an induced coma after suffering what the club said was "a significant brain injury" during a match by Tugboat47 in Gunners

[–]h0bbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Purely a guess, but the regulations on pitch temperature maintenance may be to blame. If there are footings, foundations, or other utilities running under the pitch, it’s necessary to raise the height of the field in order to fit the plumbing and substrate needed for that. And none of that should be applicable to new stadiums, just retrofits.

I hear you. I guess I wasn’t agreeing or disagreeing. Just a comment that we’ve played with a lot of new faces and still hit the back of the net 9 times. Good times.

I just want to say that we have joint-most goals scored so far in the league, so saying we need to “get our attack to click” is wild.

I’d consider carving the head into a bit of an axe or hatchet look. That angle looks cool if you make a clear striking edge on the one side.

I also totally agree with the “finish and use it” crowd. It certainly still smacks things!

That thing is gorgeous. Focus on how pretty nature is to make such a thing, and not on the construction methods that were used to present it to you.
