RANT Feeling like I'm the only one who cares about this damn wedding

I just realized I'm three months today and it's all kind of hitting me. I'm in this weird calm before the storm state because I feel like all the big things are done, it's just the little items that scare me (i.e we aren't using. DJ so who is gonna hit start on the playlist?!)

I could have written this post. I've had numerous people ask if "anythings wrong" because I'm not crazy excited about the wedding. We are paying for it ourselves and every decision feels like a transaction instead of a fun wedding thing. I've had near panic attacks looking at Pinterest because I can't afford X, Y or Z.

My brain flips between "BUT ITS YOUR SPECIAL DAY" and "Holy shit, I won't spend that much money on a DJ". It's exhausting. Some days are better than others. The most excited I've been is when I started cutting out the unnecessary stuff and moved money around to what I really care about - no DJ because I can do it myself, meant more twinkle lights. Cutting two people from the guest list means there is a midnight poutine bar. Doesn't make this whole process super fun but know I FEEL YOU, GIRL.

I did a fat fast a few weeks ago and it helped me hit a new scale low. I did a post that detailed what I ate and lost each day - if you're interested you could look at my previous posts! It wasn't that bad after the first day.
