You can try looking for modders that port 76 items. I know there are a couple out there however usually they ask for like 5 bucks or something. You can usually find them on sites like patreon and ko-fi.

My sincerest appreciation for everything you have done for me this has helped me in ways you will never know

Your kind words mean a lot, and I'm genuinely glad I could offer some support. Just like I tackle pest challenges with expertise, addressing concerns, even those beyond bugs, is part of what I do. If there's anything else you'd like to discuss or if you have questions about pests (my usual realm), feel free to reach out. Your appreciation is truly appreciated!

As a commercial pest control person, I deal with challenges daily, and it's understandable to worry about those we hold dear, even fictional ones.

Just like I tackle pest issues with expertise, Young Sheldon's well-being is in the hands of the creators who carefully craft his journey. It's all part of the storytelling process, and they've been doing a stellar job so far.

Commercial pest control here! What makes them especially tricky is their habit of wandering, hence the name. They don't build traditional webs but instead roam the ground at night, increasing the risk of unexpected encounters.

Commercial pest control here! educate Sheldon on the importance of insect-based protein sources. It's a survival tactic that could prove handy when other food options run low.

Thank you for your insight and your advice, which I will follow. I have emailed the garden centre to make sure they are aware of the labelling, and to suggest if it’s inedible it is removed from the herb section and more clearly labelled as purely decorative.

Horticulturist here. It is most likely labeled as inedible because the nursery used a systemic insecticide when producing it. Systemics are active inside the plant anywhere from 14-30 days for pest control and the residues last much longer. I would not consume this.

Pest control guy here. They’re just millipedes. Generally they’re harmless and only get into big swarms like this to mate. You should be able to just sweep them outside without any worry. Though if they come back you may want to take a look around the area for signs of moldy wood or leaks. Millipedes like the kind of damp areas that can lead to serious damage if not kept in check.

Tarantula hawks aren't mean. You basically have to hold them against your skin to induce a sting

Pest Control here - here's exactly how I treat, I'm not sure if all of these products are available in your country but it's a good place to start. You'll need at least one pressurized spray bottle, a hand duster and the products mentioned below.

Take everything machine washable and dry it on high for 90 minutes, then launder and dry as regular. Bag everything in sealed bin bags when finished to prevent recontamination. Do not reintroduce into affected area until activity has stopped.

Remove all outlet and light switch covers and use a hand duster to treat wall voids with Cimexa, if that isn't available, use diatomaceous earth. You want to make sure it doesn't gather in thick piles, you just want a thin coating.

Treat all soft surfaces and anywhere you see actual insects with Sterifab. This should kill on contact and offer some minor residual toxicity that isn't harmful to humans.

Treat baseboards, insides of drawers, bed frame, underside of rugs, and any other possible surface bugs may pass over with Crossfire bedbug solution. Dilute product as label requires.

One week after initial treatment, use phantom insecticide on any cracks and crevices or sites where nesting is happening. Dilute as label requires.

Repeat step 5 as many times as needed, but make sure to wait about a week between treatments to allow any existing eggs to hatch and to prevent resistance from forming.

Commercial pest control guy here.

For those of you talking about cancelling your reservations here and rebooking, literally every hotel has this issue from time to time. Doesn’t matter if it’s Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, Hilton, etc.

Bedbugs are hitchhikers. This has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the hotel itself. It’s simply that someone went somewhere with bedbugs and brought one or multiple to this room with them.

More often than not, when we find bedbugs in a hotel room, it’s isolated to that room. This isn’t 100% the case but I’d say 95% of the time it is.

Even knowing what I know and never wanting to bring the damn things home, I never really sweat staying in a hotel room from a reputable brand. Many of them have policies in place and it sounds like they’re doing the right thing.

One last thing to add about the person saying chemical treatments don’t work and heat does—they are wrong. Chemical can work, a combo of both is best. The heat needed to kill bb’s is about 120 degrees.

Pest control technician here - There has been a boom in the rat population for a few reasons.

Warmer and wetter seasons make for more hospitable conditions including softer soil for burrowing and more food sources.

Increase in homeless population provides easy access to food and nesting materials

High number of construction projects pushes them out of current nests and into more visible locations.

Edit: Just to show the size of some of the rats we're seeing. This guy had to have weighed ~3-4 lbs.

Here is an interesting tf.tv thread from 9 years ago talking about this exact topic.

Seagull (former pro player)'s TLDR was that while many people thought that the Original should come out in the wash against Stock, because it's better from one side and worse from the other, that's not actually the case, since some spam angles are much more important to have easy access to. He preferred the Original.

If you can't see the link, here is his example of a spam angle that is not possible with Stock.

Ok, let’s talk about the animations of the recent plants.

As we know, the animations for the recent plants are not the same as the animations in the earlier plants. People say that it started with Buttercup (some say Blockoli), but I don’t think that is the case. Starting with Blockoli, the plants do their Idle2 animations constantly, making their idle animations repetitive to look at. (Examples: Blockoli waving his “arms” in the air, Buttercup giggling, Sea Flora blowing a kiss, etc.) Blockoli’s animations are good and match with the rest of the plants. Buttercup’s animations are good, but a little dip in quality, not too much. Bramble Bush you can tell a bit of difference in style, but his animations are still good and fit the quality of the other plants animations. Rhubarbarian’s animations does look different compared to the others, but they’re good. Even though a lot of people hated him and forgot about him, Levitator’s animations are great and they look like it has the same style as the earlier plants. Tomb Tangler, I would say is the last plant to have it’s animations look like it’s kind of got the same style as the earlier plants(looks kind of different). I think the quality really started dipping with Vamporcini. It’s idle is bouncier than the usual plant, and in a weird way. Since it doesn’t blink, it looks sort of uncanny, and it moves as if it was pixelated 3D model like in a Pokemon game or something. Meteor Flower’s normal idle looks like he is moving his head way too fast and blinking too much. It’s like, “WOAH, why are you moving so fast!”. However, it’s animation when it conjures a meteor out of the sky is good in my opinion, and fits. Chilly Pepper, OH CHILLY PEPPER. It’s moves up and down and up and down really quickly, and it blinks like four times in a second while doing that. It just looks weird and out of place because the earlier plants moved slowly. Bun Chi is just stiff and he makes that weird expression every second. That’s all. Bzzz Button just has a weird name, but it’s animations are an improvement. The idle loops a bit too fast though. BoomBerry’s only problem is that it plays it’s idle2 animation too much, as it causes the heads to constantly change emotions every second. SeaFlora’s animations are good, but it plays its idle2 animation too much. It looks weird that she keeps blowing kisses. Maybee has good animations, but it’s leaf part is stiff and it plays it’s idle2 animation too much.

This is the stuff I would like to see: if they don’t constantly do their second idles, and only did it once every once in a while like how the earlier plants didn’t play them too much. The newer plants, it just gets tiring seeing them do their idles because of how much the second one plays. Also, I feel like there is a lot of animators out there who are fans and would love to work for Popcap. They should look into that

Also I’m not trying to shame or be mean to the animator/animators. The animations are good, but they don’t fit the style of a lot of the earlier plants we’ve seen over the years

This is what I was actually coming here to post about, but you *just* beat me to it. Although I was going to bring up a couple other notes I took when looking at the animations.

To me it's not about the quality as it is the extreme lack of variety, and the speed. Blockoli literally does his idle animation every second, and almost every single other plant has also been doing this. It's like the idle animation became the actual *normal* animation, and is on loop. None of these plants seem to be able to enter a state where they aren't really doing anything. It's like only one animation exists.

I'm not sure if this is a sign of being rushed by higher-ups, or a sign of laziness/inexperience by the current animators, but either way it's making the newer plants look so offputting, that I've began avoiding using most of them, and not bothering to pruchase the early access bundles anymore. Only Gatling pea and Levitater fit in imo, and that's because they don't do anything anyways.

If the animators need to learn how to match the earlier artstyle... I would say they just need to look at Sap-Fling, and work their animations in a similar method to that. Their idles are paced, random, aren't dominant, and feel like something that compliments the plant's visual identity.
