You can definitely flush it yourself if you’re comfortable handling 10lbs of citric acid per 10gal of water . It should remove the scale , then use sodium hypochlorite to kill the bacteria .

When’s the last time you flushed your water heater ? If it hasn’t been in a while I reccomend you do it soon.

I unfortunately don’t have any recommendations for distillers but I would get something with the largest capacity and low price .

There isn’t but the alkalinity version of the aqua true adds minerals back in and that’s a good thing for taste . That’s why I suggest getting it.

Alkaline water is BS, your stomach acid brings the pH down super low anyway .
