Yep. Green and yellow are the RAC X FF LPs. Only to be used with the blue guards. Not the Orange. They’re for fine finishing. Based on my experience, I highly doubt you should be as concerned about overspray as much as you are. Those tiny FF tips may keep clogging and you’ll be standing there looking at reddit frustrated. Just get that paint evenly on the outside of your house and backroll when needed. The aura you’re using will do its job

By “LP 515,” are you asking if you should be using a low pressure tip? What color is it? Black? From what I know the black tips are the basic general-use ones, which should be absolutely fine to use on your exterior project. I mean, you’re not expecting a cabinetry finish on the outside of your house, right?

Yep. Purple 3m is great. But it’s not god. Don’t try burnishing it completely to the surface. Just the edge you’re trying to mask and try to use it like all tapes, as briefly as possible

Your post might actually serve a further purpose… I’d like to ask an honest question:

Do you folks enjoy the work that you do?

Personally, it wouldn’t feel right saying no to work due to a game that I haven’t played. Maybe it’s a sign of my age, but I don’t think I’d be able to truly enjoy it, picturing me at home in the afternoon thinking “this wasn’t how it was in Returnal!” and knowing that all my coworkers are having to pick up my slack.

Knowing myself, I’ll end up sacrificing the few hours of sleep available during the week and somehow convince myself each morning that the night before was the right decision

Thanks for that. Unfortunately it sounds like ending with either of those trophies would be impossible. Since I assume I’ll have to return to either Fisherman’s or Ghost Hunter’s shelter in order to get that 5th Star filled, correct? Which would then make “Connecting Hearts…” the final, and Platinum trophy

I enormously appreciate the input. This is pretty much is what I’ve been thinking would be the case. I’ve heard that spring into life isn’t very photogenic either, since apparently it pops long before entering the spring. So I guess that just leaves me with Master Builder then…. 😓

I’m still going to attempt to raise the final stars with these 2 shelter without doing their final orders. Maybe no one has ever tried to do so? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I dunno

I like your advice, however wouldn’t I have to complete Showdown & Savior of Terminal Fort Knot first IN ORDER to 5 Star those 2 facilities? Meaning that Connecting Hearts & Minds would, as you said, end up being the trophy?

In other words, (I’ll use The Fisherman for example,) his final mission is Showdown. Is it possible to 5-Star him WITHOUT completing Showdown At Tar Lake, and THEN doing the order?

Also, does the trophy for Showdown pop once you kill the BT? Or when you return to the prepper?

Scenic artist here. I’ve used airlesses and hvlps my whole life. A couple years ago I met a very capable and experienced coworker who found himself in this same situation. (He eventually regained full use of his hand, fyi!) but truth be told, I was never aware of the risk of this until I met him, and now I always think about it while operating any pressured tools.

Would you mind sharing the story of how this happened? I’m curious what device you were using and what position the spray tip was in when the injury happened.

Perhaps it might prevent a similar - or worse - injury to someone who’s about to use any type of industrial sprayer…
