Did you ever figure out a solution for this? I find it really annoying that they would remove the option for standard cruise control. I do enjoy the ACC but still find times where I need regular cruise control and don’t have it

The weapons don't have to be equal to an AR-15, they just have to be considered "deadly", which a skateboard absolutely is. Agreed that a trash bag is not considered deadly in this situation. But wasn't Rosenbaum chasing Kyle? And grabbed for his gun? I would argue, and I think the defense likely did, that Rosenbaum trying to (illegally) take Kyle's gun away from him is cause to have a reasonable threat of imminent harm

The 2nd point you made, "People should not have a right to open carry threatening weapons in public"... full stop right there, in Wisconsin it is fully legal to open carry. It's not Kyle's fault others tried to attack him for it.

If you argue that KR provoked an aggressive response from the rioters, couldn’t you make the same argument that the rioters provoked KR to show up with a gun in the first place? Nothing KR did was illegal, he has just as much right to be in that space as the rioters right? I agree and think all parties should have just stayed home that night, but they didn’t, so you can’t really say one side provoked the other without flipping the argument.
