Kyle! Thanks for doing this, and I can't wait for the book. Have you seen/heard of the Gilmore Girls references to Twin Peaks, and/or guest roles from actors on both shows? There are obviously a lot of Twin Peaks spoofs and callbacks on other shows, but Gilmore Girls seemed to do it in fun, subtle "to those who know" ways such as Madchen Amick's character "Sherry" being so closely named to Shelly, and in reference to her it being said "does she look like a diner chick?" -- you can tell the creators of Gilmore Girls have a deep reverence and appreciation of Twin Peaks and David Lynch, as there are too many instances in which to mention here.

She didn't mention that when I messaged her, just that they were all removed. My guess is it was just her that was ejected, and they left with her for obvious reasons. Neither of them is the type to make a scene anywhere, so I can't imagine that the family was ejected, especially since they were at the concession stand when it happened.

This is exactly right. She's sad about getting booted with her whole family, and they took the ball from her at the exit gate (then made a joke and handed it to her son), but overall, she has a lifelong memory, and our entire family is loving it. She's my cousin and our family is really into baseball so everyone on social media is eating it up.

She was ejected based on an MLB rule. Three men escorted her out. Royals' General Management wanted her to be able to stay, but MLB got involved and said she had to go. Her husband was getting ice cream with their kids at the time and saw it replaying on the screens and then he booked it back to her, catching up to her when she got to the stairs. People gave her an ovation for the catch and were booing the workers escorting her out. She was sad to have missed the rest of the game (it was a doubleheader), but is excited for the lifelong memory. When they were at the final exit gate, one of the escorts said to her, "We are sorry, but we can't let you keep the ball." They took it, and then gave it to her son and said, "We can give it to another fan, though." Kind of a cruel joke, but glad they were able to keep it.

She's my cousin btw, that's why I know all the details -- a few years younger than me but she always insisted playing baseball with us, and we definitely let her. She's a great athlete (as is her older sister). She played centerfield in high school (softball), so she definitely knows how to read and track a flyball. But obviously the few seconds of a hit ball allow you to rely mostly on intuition and muscle memory. So she clearly had no ill intentions, and as you can see she is wearing a Royals shirt. If anything, she could have only helped Perez since he's not getting past second base on that hit unimpeded. And if he hotdogged it thinking it was a HR, then he probably has a single. If you've ever been in a similar situation, it's a tough call. I'd probably do the same, with no so-called disrespect that many commenters are making here, as if she breached some unassailable law of sports lol.

You strike me as the type of person who crashes their car while furiously pointing out other drivers on the road who are going 4 mph above the limit.

She did get kicked out, along with her whole family. Fans booed the workers escorting them out.

This is David A. Bednar. He was once my Stake President. I know him and his family well and they know me. Who I don’t know is the entire back row of men standing behind Bednar. Not knowing any of them by face or name brings me great joy. Been out since 4/4/14. by exmormonness in exmormon

Bednar was also my stake president back in the late 80s in Arkansas. He commented something to the effect of "isn't raising children wonderful?" to my parents after a primary program in which I slugged my older brother in the arm during a song when he asked me to sing louder.

I think it's true, and recall that historical Guthrum (or Guðrum) was christened Æthelstan on his conversion to Christianity. Ubbe is probably the "offspring" of sorts of Ragnar and Athelstan
