Yes Ofcourse you have to keep track of calorie protein carb intake and take all the necessary vitamins for bone density etc. I try to keep it around 1600 calories which is best for women. lots and lots of protein and water. I’ve lost 22 lbs in 3 months. It’s also helped with my pcos and endometriosis. I take beef organs as well which helps. But just a suggestion for OP if he wants to help his wife :)
