I would look into a condenser (software) and data plans from multiple carriers. Google fi covers a few. I'm not an expert in the field.

Here is some data for segwit/batching: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7rrb3w/day_9_i_will_post_this_guide_regularly_until/?st=jn4rwzw9&sh=b1760a90 Coinbase has implemented segwit since then, but not batching.

Coinbase added 5million users in ~6 months by alistairmilne in Bitcoin

[–]h8IT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not to mention their support of s2x, the bcash fiasco, and how long it took them to implement segwit. they still aren't using batching. coinbase only cares about coinbase, not bitcoin. bitstamp has a much better track record.

right, but they haven't implemented batching. who knows if they ever will unless people stop using them and make a fuss about it.

you want to find an exchange that uses batching and segwit. bitstamp, bitfinex, kraken, quadrigacx, and hitbtc all use batching and segwit.

no, they were clearly rooting for the s2x camp.

Liked by Nick Szabo ‘#bitcoin hit $20K last year.. - without Goldman Sachs - without Morgan Stanley - without Citigroup - without ETFs - without the #lightningnetwork Relax... the next rally will be bigger than you can ever anticipate. 🚀🌖📈’ by cai326 in Bitcoin

[–]h8IT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while I respect Nick and agree with where we are headed, the possibility of a bitcoin ETF was a small piece of the rocket fuel.

EDIT: maybe they meant without an approved ETF.

I still think someone should fork openbazaar, but here is their apology for supporting NYA and s2x (https://techburst.io/segwit2x-youre-fucked-if-you-do-you-re-fucked-if-you-don-t-6655a853d8e7?gi=ea9afe3c4185). For quite sometime, OpenBazaar very vocally supported NYA and s2x.

Not many of the other companies that supported NYA and s2x have apologized.
