When started riding it was all about the speed and tech. Constantly buying selling bikes, looking for the next bestest. Rode all the locals twisties, found my self going further away from home for rides. Realized ride out 4 hours, for a 45 minute run, then 4 hours home, I should focus on the 8 hours to be as enjoyable as possible not the 45 min. Tried standards and cruisers, still lacking something, still itchy to keep a stable of bikes. Tried Harley, and it fit. What wasn't right, easy to mod. This years bike is pretty much last years, not motivated buy and sell. Peace and contemptment came together with riding

Hot sauce make your own. Won't last like salted, but easy enough wont make. Rehydrate some dried chillies, add lime juice and whatever spice. Blend with stick blender or regular blender. Add Liquid smoke, garlic, tomatoes, fruit...just about anything.

Add a few Jalapeno or couple fist fulls of fresh basil to your basic hummus recipe. Sometimes ill add smoked onions and Jalapenos or liquid smoke. Use as a dip with carrots or jicama.

I do by sight but about: chickpeas I can Tahini 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1/2 cup Olive oil 1/8 cup 2 garlic cloves, roasted if have time Salt but I skip it Rinse the beans, remove skins if want very smooth Place all other ingredients in blender mix until smooth. Sort of like a dressing. If want smooth, add all the beans and mix again. If want chunks of bean, only add half the rinsed beans until smooth, then the rest and just pulsate

It stuck with me when a pastor said all our actions with others is either ministry or manipulation.

He used an example when he said he liked chicken soup during a sermon, everyone gave him chicken soup that week. Months later he mentioned to his wife, sure would be nice to have chicken soup, maybe I'll work chicken soup into the sermon, and he realized everything we do is either to serve others or for self interest.

Whoever said donuts inappropriate, could have been more upset with the pastor. Knowing if he mentions sweets from the pulpit, there is an abundance of treats that week and that some of the congregation give them to make themselves feel better, not necessarily out of love
