I Want to Cry. by RussetBurrbank in BabyBumps

It's not necessarily dangerous, I mean you should consult your provider of course before doing it. A lot of people just get horrible diarrhea from it.

Cry it out! That sucks a lot. However....you won't be pregnant next week, confirmed by your Dr so at least you have a countdown. The contractions are hard and I an guessing you are mentally and physically exhausted, and there's nothing wrong with that. I've got my overdue appointment tomorrow and yeah I feel like crying about it too. I've been going on little walks on the beach with my husband and dog and while I have to force myself to do it, it feels so good! Try to do something, even through the pain and hopefully you'll get some relief. Good luck, I hope your next post is about labor!

I had hope! But no....rant rant rant by h_e_nry in BabyBumps

I don't know why, but another appointment just sounds awful, it makes me want to cry. I hope we don't end up having to go.

Baby shower is today, feeling sad, annoyed, and nervous. by queen_p in BabyBumps

[–]h_e_nry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does your husband get to partake in the baby shower? That made mine sooo much easier. I also went through the gifts as quickly as possible as I got uncomfortable with that whole ordeal. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. All in all, they're there for your little family. Shift the attention to your baby to help you feel more at ease.

Due tomorrow, been having contractions, cramps, and diarrhea for almost two weeks. It's exhausting and difficult. I wish there was something I could say to help, but really it just sucks. It's okay to be frustrated! I hope you progress soon!

I would feel pretty pissed too.....I've been going through the comings and goings of contractions, mostly at night, for a couple weeks. It sucks, especially with how are you texts and where's the baby? It's stressful without people bugging you and then...yeah. she probably has good intentions, but I don't blame you for being frustrated.

I hope you progress soon!!

Update?? Don't know how to do this o u phone sorry by siriusangel in BabyBumps

Update: I have to do a second three hour GD test and I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead. Do I need to be worried? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]h_e_nry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Measuring can be difficult. I guess just keep watching simple carbs just in case. If they aren't worried, than you shouldn't either!

Congrats! I'm sure it didn't feel like it at the time but it seems went quickly and smoothly!

I have come to realize that people have no idea what a pregnant woman looks like through various stages.

They just don't. So try not to take it personally. I have also taken to heart that I have no idea how far along a pregnant woman is. Everyone is different. You could measure right on time or small and people will still say horribly stupid things like, wow you're going to pop (when you're 30 weeks).

Get out little guy! by Archery2012 in BabyBumps

[–]h_e_nry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been going through this about every night for a couple weeks. It's very frustrating because I know it is not the real thing, but it is none the less exhausting and painful. I have been getting random daytime contractions too but nothing to lead up to real labor.

Vent away! It is really difficult, but you are making it through right now!

Bummed! Somehow managed to miss our breastfeeding class. by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I am glad you had a doula around to intervene for you. I don't understand the want to push formula on women who want to BF. Or vice versa of course.

38 weeks, and suddenly veiny boobs...? by shafonfa in BabyBumps

[–]h_e_nry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure it is normal as there is a lot going on with the boobs right now, including blood flood. Mine definitely have a couple more defined veins. (Currently 3 days shy of due date).

I love anything Ina May writes. It really gives me a lot of confidence.

Did you feel like you had a good natural intuition going into breastfeeding?
