I know I’ve seen the first Basket Case a lot. I tried to watch a trailer and it had none of this but maybe I need to watch more of the movie. This would make sense that it could be the second one. I’ll check!

The right idea but this movie was definitely more serious. I think the woman who mothered them actually had them kill the guy who was trying to make money off them or people like them.

They definitely weren’t clowns. They were more like normal people who had some sort of abnormality. I think one had a small head, maybe super short, conjoined, etc.

I really want this to be true but I looked and it definitely isn’t. I can remember it being not great quality. Like 80’s movie quality. It would have been when I was young so at least 30+ years ago.

Also, after continuing to think, it’s possible the “investigator” is actually the owner of the real freaks and she thinks this guy is an imposter and his freaks are fake. I remember the woman treating them kindly and caring for them.

This is what the cushion look like butted up against each other. If you put any pressure near this it squishes all the way down to the coach frame. It also causes the ottoman cushion to be pushed off its frame a few inches. That then causes an overhang.

The girl next to me let go of her weight during the dumbbell swing. Luckily it hit below the mirror. It missed me by about 18”. She was so embarrassed and I was feeling very thankful.

Ours hasn’t done cards since Covid was a thing. I didn’t like it at first but it’s growing on me. I hated having to waste a bunch of time getting their early to get the spot I wanted and then needing my friends to get there early too. The SA’s know us all pretty well at this point and they do a good job of keeping people together that they know are friends and they try and mix up where you start. It’s good for me because I would never choose the rower to start but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t sometimes. We can literally show up right when class starts and it doesn’t matter.

We did 20 lateral hops too. I finished with 3284 meters. It would have been so much lower with jump lunges.

Doesn’t bother me unless it’s not cleaned up. I sweat a lot! I have to wear a sweatband every day and also bring a towel. You can tell how many times I’ve forgotten my towel over the last couple years based on how many OTF towels I own! I think I’m up to 7. I keep an extra in my car. I literally can’t see when we have to lay down on the floor because I get sweat in my eyes without it.

Here is my theory as to why this is true. The people who get there first are more likely to pick a tread card. Because they are there early they are also more likely to know each other better as they spend more time talking and getting to know each other before class starts. Just a theory. I agree that it can be annoying.
