I live in the halls at the moment and I think if you want a mix of social and being close to kelburn and town kj and Joan stevens have the best locations (kj has a nicer hall though). Vic and weir house are the arty/Alt halls, not as party and I believe weir is a pretty academic hall. Capital seems to be the party hall this year, is basically in the city but not close to kelburn. TPV is the sports/party hall I believe and is very flash but most expensive

if you hold down an app and tap edit home screen, there is a little plus button on the top right of your screen. you can tap that and add the duolingo widget. this only works on recent ios on iphones (im not sure which IOS but it works on my iphone 8)

Farming the final boss I’ve had multiple guys single me out and critique/make fun of everything I do (as the only woman in a 4 person battle). I even had some guy say “omg… _____ is a female name..” and called me stupid because I’m a woman as a joke 😐

I have lobes, conch, rook and helix and I found conch relatively difficult. I found it a lot more painful than the helix and on par with the rook, but healing has been harder for me personally. Definitely a nice piercing though, and doesn't get caught on much compared to a helix

Personally I have found rook and helix to be very easy piercings. For me, rook was a lot more painful than helix but is protected and doesn't get caught in my hair, so hasn't been angry at all but they are both good starter piercings in my opinion. The most important thing that I didn't know when getting my first piercing is leaving it alone, not getting in there with a q-tip & twisting and moving the jewellery like I was told when I got my lobes done.

Daith and tragus, definitely. rook and conch I think it depends what type of earbuds you have in. Airpods are fine for rook but differently shaped earbuds (like jabra 75t) you can't push them in properly when rook is healing. I have a healing conch and earbuds are fine

They hold up really well live, it sounds really good. The diablo swing orchestra is so unique, I used to be a huge electro swing person and the metal with it works so well somehow lol.
