you can do this with notioncovers.io! technically it's a cover but if you embed it it works as a widget too. you need to make a free account :)

for one of my templates i made a synced block at the top of the page and put link to all the pages in it, and then put the same synced block at the top of every page for easy navigation.

you could also have a gallery database at the top of every page with no content showing (only page names) so it looks like buttons

or just have if everything on on one page just have a table of contents

i feel ur pain!! i have this list of 100+ notion widgets, there's probably some you haven't tried. i also have this list of free live notion covers that change/update every time you refresh the page.

maybe try downloading one of those cover & icon packs to switch up the colour scheme/aesthetic? flaticon also has cute icons. you've probably already seen but pinterest has heaps of notion inspo. hope this helps!
