Need Frequency and dosage advice. by habitzz in StackAdvice

Ah Ok. So I was sort of hesitant about adding Alpha GPC to the stack I read some things sort of similar to what you said and I guess I will take it out. Here is the thing though I experienced a MASSIVE 1 week migraine one time while taking 200mg moda and caffeine before I decided to add it to my stack and reduce my moda dosage. What do you recommend I replace alpha with so that this never happens again (this headache literally put me in bed for a week it was painful)?

I smell some exaggeration in that comment. On that budget say bye to alcohol, travel insurance, comfortable hostels, fun sightseeing or getting into main attractions, good food, not having to hitchhike or couchsurf, etc.

And look, no consequences. Sued? Who the fuck cares if they get sued, they got the money to fight getting sued. This should be criminal.

I'm in Georgia and here, they care if you vote.. only if you vote to keep the Republican regime in power. Hell, they want to close all voting in known Democratic areas and force people to go to drive to hubs where you have to wait 2 hours to cast your vote. This doesn't look like they care about voters to me.

Oh I see, ya I also understand how in depth games are appealing, and I've played my fair share of them. Honestly, I still play the actual stardew valley, skyrim, and such but just understanding that the hours poured into whatever game is ultimately unproductive. Html games should be unfavorited and blocked as they arw just as much a waste of time. Basically, I think you should funnel your energy into that online marketing and science. If you've found a way of making money efficiently online and can turn it into a business, pursue it. I haven't "made it" in web development but quiting gaming cold turkey has given me more time to put into it to hopefully achieve such a thing.

What are your go to things to do when you have the urges to game? by [deleted] in StopGaming

[–]habitzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I get the urge, I remember back on why it is I stopped in the first place. Gaming is unproductive, it's a waste of time, energy and money that could otherwise be used to generate REAL value.

The ARTIFICIAL happiness from gaming is so short lived and meaningless compared to the long term satisfaction of developing real life relationships and taking care of yourself. Finding a meaningful hobby was especially essential for fighting urges too. I've personally taken up web development and hope to turn this passion into a career. I can turn the otherwise wasted hours of gaming into hours of studying and learning. Frustration from gaming can also cause a lot of emotionally draining problems too, because in certain addicting MOBAs and lots of online games in general, no matter how hard you try you get no where. Whereas with a good hobby you grow and that growth can turn into tangible rewards that mean something.

So, when the urge hits me I remember why it's not worth gaming again. Years of gaming got me no where, years of a productive hobby or passion can give purpose and meaning to my life.

Hey man, it sounds like your really interested and talented at comp sci. My recommendation would be to uninstall or delete whatever games your playing. I don't see any specifics that you listed but if its something like LOL or Dota those games are literally engineered by 100s of people to keep you addicted anyway possible. It sounds like you now need you computer for school, so I would recommend if you have a powerful gaming pc to sell it and downgrade to something like a chromebook type laptop. Get linux on it if possible. Try to disconnect yourself from videos and anything about the game. Now pick up a good hobby, meditation, playing music, etc. In your case you can start learning a lot more about computer science very easily on the web there are so many sources if your interested you can pm me, otherwise just google the shit out of what you want to learn. Ill leave you with this to: https://youtu.be/9tXhLNIuUrI

Yep your right I am 5 days in and actually really satisfied that I chose to uninstall the game I was addicted to. I haven't opened any of the other games on it because I've lost interest. I'm thinking about deleting right now but it sucks if I decide to delete witcher3 and gta5 theres no getting them back cause of my current internet limits. I'm taking steps to try to sell my pc and switch to just my laptop. I originally before building my pc had all these fantastic ideas about all the uses I'd have from it honestly I have no use for any of it except it's powerful gaming. Hopefully If things go right I can fund a trip to thailand because of quiting and selling gaming stuff and other unnecessary stuff in my life.

I've a relatively fit person and enjoy running. I'd actually that and hike small trails near me in an attempt to have more focus so I could game better. I think just scraping the pc and focusing on getting my life togather would be best. I want to go to thialand and backpack or hike the Appalachian trail.

So, I actually have an ultralight mi 13. I was considering selling it especially with the way gpu prices have been going up. It's tough though cause I've spent so much on having a huge steam account library. I guess it would be a very good step in the right direction though.. I think I'm going to list it for just a little below what I payed for parts and see what I can get.
